Hotel Centrale — Hotel in Cervia

We booked for sea side view room and we got it, perfectly situated just 2 steps from the beach. It was unfortunately a tiny balcony but it was enough to get the fresh breeze every morning for 7 whole days. The hotel is located basically at the beach and close to the city centre as well which is most likely packed every single night. A lot of people! We always go for a walk every after dinner and we always have to wade through this crowd. A lot of bars, restaurants, most shops open, makes one wonder if this city ever sleeps. The staffs of the hotel were all accommodating and courteous. Bar was probably alright for cafè but drinks, nahhhh, get to some upper bars around. Everyday cleaning of the room but they don't mind under the beds. It was pretty gross when i was trying to locate the toys of the kids. Aargh. Toiletries refilled everyday which was good. Food varies everyday, fish....meat....soup....etc. fresh fruits and veggies buffet. The waitress was really nice, fast and hard working. Very focused and knows what shes doing. Beach was perfect. Unfortunately, most days of our stay the water was really wavy. On our last day, the water was calm, finally, kids were able to play on the water, not just on the sand making castles and stuff. Good thing there was a play area for kids pretty equipped. Entertainment for kids was also available and zumba was what i really enjoyed so much every morning at the beachside. Very nice stay....

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 2 notti, eravamo 4 persone. Nonostante avessimo opzionato dal loro sito una camera con un letto matrimoniale e due letti singoli ci è stata assegnata una stanza con un letto a castello. Fino a qui male ma ancora bene… Il letto a castello in questione potrebbe essere definito, per aiutare la vostra immaginazione, come una bara. Il malcapitato a cui toccherà di dormire al piano zero del letto si troverà a dormire con il materasso a pochi centimetri da terra e con le sponde che superano in altezza il materasso (proprio come in una bara). Ma la bara non è per tutti: per un riposo ottimale è meglio non essere più alti di 1.60 m. Come se ciò non bastasse, il letto superiore può essere alzato e abbassato in base al numero di ospiti della camera. La struttura in metallo che lo sostiene ha una conformazione a fisarmonica (parecchio datata) che dà l’impressione di non essere affatto stabile. Per quanto l’ospite che si troverà a dormire di sotto dovrà essere basso, quello che riposerà sul letto superiore dovrà essere particolarmente agile, modalità parkour: il letto non possiede scaletta. In generale bisogna però dire che la camera e i letti erano perfettamente puliti. Per sbaglio è stato spostato un comodino e anche al di sotto di esso non c’era nemmeno un granello di polvere. Per quanto riguarda il bagno (anch’esso pulito), il wc aveva la tavoletta completamente scardinata dalla struttura sottostante mentre le ante della doccia erano molto traballanti. Addentrandoci nel capitolo “colazione” (generalmente comunque buona) il servizio lasciava a desiderare: nonostante l’orario della colazione fosse fissato dalle 8:00 alle 11:00, arrivando alle 10 non abbiamo trovato nessuno ad accoglierci. Molti tavoli erano sporchi, tutti gli altri non erano utilizzabili perché completamente sparecchiati. Dopo una quantità considerevole di tempo il cameriere si palesa provvedendo ad apparecchiare il nostro tavolo con una leggera stizza. Recandoci al buffet, sorge un ulteriore problema ovvero le torte, le brioche e le uova dovevano essere servite dal cameriere sopracitato, nuovamente irreperibile. La prima mattina assistiamo ad una scena imbarazzante: un cliente chiede un uovo strapazzato. Seppur disponibile a menù, il cameriere, senza neanche controllare in cucina, risponde che le uova non sarebbero state disponibili perché terminate, dato l’orario. Il cliente giustamente infastidito, fa notare che la colazione sarebbe dovuta essere disponibile fino alle 11 quindi chiede nuovamente le uova strapazzate. A quel punto, non potendo contraddirlo, gli ha preparato il piatto inizialmente richiesto. Le uova quindi non erano affatto finite.

Nonostante la recensione sia stata confezionata in modo divertente per sdrammatizzare, il soggiorno aveva gravi pecche per essere...

We stayed at the Centrale as a Group of close to 30 people. Elena the receptionist has been very helpful with all our room changes and requirements. It was great to have beach view and be a step away from the sand.||The rooms were nice, clean and lovely fresh towels every day. The breakfast buffet has a good variety with different fresh things like salami,ham, cheese and some pastry too. Definitely liked the freshly baked croissants. They helped us a lot to provide early breakfast that was necessary for our full day events ahead. The entire hotel team was super accommodating to fulfill anything necessary and went the extra mile in various areas. Great Italian hospitality.||Wifi is only in the entrance area but since it's a big cozy lounge was no issue.||It's not far from the center too and all is in walking distance. A few great restaurants that were recommended by them turned out great. Visit La Baya...
