We stayed here for 12 nights at the beginning of August. I’ll start with the good things first—there aren’t many, but still worth mentioning.||The hotel is located right on the beach, so it’s very well positioned. The rooms are fairly modern and clean. The bathroom has a good-sized shower with decent water pressure. The breakfast staff are nice and helpful.||Now for the not-so-good part...||We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, all 4-star, and I can say for certain that this one is not a true 4-star hotel. It’s not a bad hotel, but it’s definitely not worth the price they charge. We booked the Deluxe King Room with a front sea view—aside from the suite, it’s the most expensive option. By accident, we saw the standard room next to ours, and it was almost identical. The only difference? Ours had an extra single bed.||Before booking, we called to ask if the Deluxe King Room was just a 3-person room. They said it wasn’t. But the photos of the 3-person room looked exactly like what we got. So we ended up paying an extra 1k for a bed we didn’t need. Fun, right?||The bed itself was also small for a Deluxe King Room. It was a 160/180 cm mattress was comfortable, but my feet were hanging off the edge. We also had an ant colony to share our room with and the paint was peeling off the walls near the window because of a water infiltration. There is no soundproofing so u can hear everything on the hall and from the bathroom next to yours.||And the beautiful sea view? Our room was on the first floor, so all we could see were the beach buildings and a tiny bit of water. When we asked to move to a higher floor, they said there weren’t any available at the time. We said no problem we’re here for 12 nights, we can move later. They said they'd let us know. We never heard back.||The TV in the room was useless. It was the cheapest model possible, with no streaming services and no way to connect devices. When we arrived, there was nothing in the room ,not even a complimentary bottle of water. No coffee machine, no tea, nothing.||The only amenity? A beach bag with the hotel’s name on it… and 3 stars printed on the side. That says a lot. In the bathroom, there was just a bottle of cheap shower gel with a strange smell and very watery. No shampoo, conditioner, or body lotion.||Now let’s talk about breakfast, which was another big disappointment. There were some cakes and pastries, but they were very dry and overbaked and almost the same every day. The scrambled eggs were often dry and turning green from sitting under the heat too long. There was one type of ham, one type of salami, and one type of cheese. If you don’t like those, too bad. No vegetables, and only a few pieces of fruit. Not even a tomato or cucumber.||As for bread: one type of white bread and two types of toast. Yogurt came in a large tub, and there was only one kind of milk—unlabeled, so if you want lactose-free or oat milk, bring your own.||It was honestly the most limited breakfast I’ve ever seen. We always stay in 4-star hotels in Italy, and all of them have been miles better than this.||One morning, there were no eggs left, so we asked for an omelet. Surprise! We were charged €10 for it when we checked out.||What they call “breakfast in the garden” is just a terrace where it’s too sunny and hot to sit in the morning. Inside, you can’t sit just anywhere,if a table is already set for supper, it’s off-limits.||I’m not saying this is a bad hotel, but it’s definitely not a 4-star one. If it were marketed as a 3-star hotel and priced accordingly (like half of what we paid), it would be okay.||The staff is friendly and helpful, but the management is poor and fails to provide actual 4-star standards.||On our last day, they left another beach bag in the room .this one had the hotel name and 4 stars on it. Funny, right? :)||There are far better options for the money.||After the first day, we tried the food and were so disappointed that we asked if we could just stay the nights covered by the 30% deposit and check out early. We didn’t get what we paid for—no sea view, small room, and poor food. They said we could check out, but we’d still be charged the full amount.||I never write reviews, but this time I felt I had to so others don’t fall into the same trap.||This is a decent 3-star hotel, and I honestly have no idea how it got its 4th star. Also, there’s no pool (which we knew in advance). I even think we saw 3-star hotels nearby that looked better than this one.||Thankfully, the weather was great, so we just tried to enjoy our time at the beach and put this hotel in the “got fooled” pile.||Also, we got the beach package, and when we went to get our umbrella, they said the hotel only made the reservation two days before we arrived, even though we paid the deposit two weeks before. So, no good spot close to the water. Thankfully, the beach staff were much more helpful and got us a better spot for the following days.||For me, it’s strange how so many people have such a great opinion...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for 12 nights in August. Let’s start with the positives—the location is excellent, right on the beach, and the rooms are fairly modern and clean. The bathroom had a decent-sized shower with good water pressure. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. This hotel is marketed as 4-star, but it falls short of that. We’ve stayed in many 4-star hotels in italy and this one doesn’t meet the hospitality standard. It’s not terrible, but definitely not worth the high price. We booked a “Deluxe King Room with front sea view,” one of their most expensive options. But the room was almost identical to a standard room, except for an extra single bed we didn’t ask for or need. We were told when we called beforehand that the room wasn’t a 3-person setup, but it's what it was. So we ended up overpaying by around 1k for nothing. The bed was small for a Deluxe King Room 160/180cm. We also had ants in the room for a few days, and peeling paint in one area of the walls because of water infiltration near the window. There was no soundproofing, so we heard everything in the hallway and the neighboring bathroom. As for the “sea view,” we were placed on the first floor, so the view of the sea was mostly obstructed by the beach buildings. Considering the fact that the deciding factor for us in choosing this particular hotel over others was the frontal sea view, it was disappointing. We requested to move higher, and while staff said they’d let us know when a room was available, we never heard back. There were no welcoming touches in the room—no complimentary water, no coffee or tea facilities and the safe didnt work. The TV was the cheapest you can get, offering no streaming/smart features and no way to connect devices. The only amenity provided was a beach bag with the hotel’s name and 3 stars printed on it—which says a lot. The bathroom offered only a bottle of cheap, watery shower gel with a strange smell. No shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. Breakfast was one of the biggest letdowns. It was repetitive and minimal, mostly comprising of sweets. Pastries were dry and overbaked, scrambled eggs sat too long under heat lamps and turned green and the fried bacon was cold and oily .There were very limited cold cuts (one type of ham/salami/cheese), no vegetables whatsoever and few fresh fruit, one type of white bread plus two types of toast. The yogurt was served from a large tub, and the milk was unlabelled—so if you need lactose-free or oat milk, you’re out of luck. One morning there were no eggs left, so we asked for an omelet—and got charged €10 for it at checkout. The “garden breakfast” area was a terrace that was far too sunny and hot in the mornings. Inside seating was restricted: if a table was set for lunch, you couldn’t sit there, and most tables were reserved for people who had full board, in perpetuity. While the staff remained friendly, the management seems disorganized and unwilling to address issues. For example, we inquired about leaving early after realizing how underwhelming the experience was, especially considering the cost. Despite offering to stay for the 4 nights covered by our 30% deposit, we were told we’d be charged the full stay regardless. When we complained, we were told the manager would be asked about available options. The answer never came and, not wanting to waste our holiday on irritation and arguments, we stopped insisting. We’ve stayed in many Italian 4-star hotels, and all of them far better than this. This place would be decent as a 3-star hotel, priced accordingly. But as a 4-star at the price? Absolutely not. It simply doesn't deliver the quality or comfort you’d expect at this price. A fitting end to a confusing experience. Overall, this hotel feels like a well-located but overpriced 3-star with poor management, basic amenities, and a misleading “Deluxe” label. It’s baffling how it received four stars. Hopefully, this helps others avoid our...
Read moreSpent 8 days with family in August and I am not fully satisfied, nor I can say it was a disaster.||Let's start with the good points: literally on the shore, no busy road to cross and quiet. Centre of town is 10 min walking or less. The hotel has been recently renovated and it is nice and clean. My double room was kind of small but very well appointed for a 3 star. Nice bathroom with window. If this is what you are looking for, go for it. ||Now what I didn't like - first and foremost the food. " A la carte" menu to choose from for the next day, plenty of choice, but the quality was poor. I also found the dishes to be too fancy and complicated for a summer holiday. I'd rather have simple "normal" food but of better quality. Then again, the window of opening times is way too strict - breakfast only until 9.30 and dinner only until 20.30. Maybe suited for Northern European, certainly not for many Italians. And on top of all, you really had the waiters bringing things away and cleaning up while we were finishing our meal. Service though was quite good. ||The other issue I had is about the Mini Club - well, to call it a Mini Club to begin with is misleading. Nothing close to it. It is enough to say that in one full week they organized only two (really TWO) events, a dinner (which only meant some music and a quite sad Micky Mouse) and a baby dance at 18.00 (one day only). My kid was never invited for anything, nor I saw anything else than a couple of young ladies helping two girls (really two) doing some drawings. No kids area anywhere at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel only for toddlers (and it was plenty of), but anyone who has kids 4+ may want to look for another place. Should the weather be not good enough for beach, nothing to do or organized at the hotel. When it comes to kids, by far the worst hotel I have been to since...
