Ristorante La Pantofla Circolo Pescatori — Restaurant in Cervia

As soon as we arrived - we were a couple - we asked to be seated at a table set for three, which was close to the canal as it was a particularly hot day. A waitress in a rude way just told us that we can have our lunch at the tables set for two or there is not any way to have lunch in their restaurant. We reply that these tables were under the hot sun and we would prefer in a place more fresh and it is not a absolutely not a kind way to reply in this manner to the customers. Another waitress assisting the discussioni, finally, made us sit at the table we asked for. Lack of sense of hospitality. Our lunch was good but not exceptional as the fish wasn't fresh. Not allowed smokers in place but there is not any sort of sign or we didn't notice any. Sure we will not come back. As a suggestion, just look for another place with more...

Ristorante (se così si può definire, anzi baracca) ma speciale, unico ed obbligatorio andarci almeno una volta nella vita e non importa se si è ricchi, poveri o gente normale, qua ti fanno sentire a casa e in pace con te stesso. La serata quando siamo andati c'erano degli ex pescatori che hanno cantato per tutta la serata canzoni di una volta allegre e mangiando il pesce ben cucinato, ascoltando le canzoni ci sentiva e osservando il luogo ci si sente rilassati, tranquilli (anche perché non costa molto) ed estasiati dalle qualità ittiche che sono il protagonista della serata. Gli antipasti sono squisiti, anche i più semplici piatti che si mangiano anche in altri posti, forse più belli, qua sembrano unici perché ogni singolo si percepisce che è fatto con amore per voler far godere la serata e non con il solo scopo di guadagnare. Il pescato grigliato è ottimo, le cozze cucinate ottimamente e il polpo grigliato stranamente squisito e saporito.Nel mio account trovate altre recensioni utili di luoghi sparsi nel Nord Italia; non dimenticate di seguirmi e mettere mi piace e alla prossima!

Restaurant (if this can be defined, indeed shack) but special, unique and obligatory to go there at least once in your life and it doesn't matter if you are rich, poor or normal people, here they make you feel at home and at peace with yourself. The evening when we went there were some former fishermen who sang cheerful songs for the whole evening and ate well-cooked fish, listening to the songs and feeling relaxed and quiet (even because it doesn't cost very) and enraptured by the fish qualities that are the protagonist of the evening. The appetizers are delicious, even the simplest dishes that are eaten in other places, perhaps more beautiful, here they seem unique because every single one perceives that it is made with love for wanting to enjoy the evening and not with the sole purpose of earning. The grilled fish is excellent, the mussels cooked very well and the octopus grilled strangely delicious and tasty. 🇮🇹 Locale posizionato lungo il canale di Cervia, in pieno centro. Ha ambienti molto grandi con tanti tavoli a disposizione, forse uno dei pochi punti a favore del locale. Purtroppo la cucina non è il top. L’antipasto tutto sommato non era male, l’insalata di mare era buona, le alici anche ma molto simili a quelle de supermercato sott’olio. Il misto di cozze (semplici e alla Sorrentina) non erano il massimo, molte erano “spappolate”. Nei primi poca scelta,i maccheroni con sugo di pesce non hanno un valore aggiunto rispetto a come si cucinerebbero a casa, il risotto buono ma anche quello non eccellente. La disponibilità di due primi non sarebbe stato un problema se fossero stati entrambi molto buoni. Le aspettative a riguardo erano alte e da un ristorante anche se è alla mano ci si aspetta qualcosa di più. Il servizio un po’ frettoloso in quanto ci sono stati portati via i piatti mentre stavamo ancora finendo di mangiare. Sicuramente c’è da migliorare. È un locale con molto potenziale, ma poco sfruttato.

🇬🇧 Restaurant located along the canal of Cervia, in the center. It has very large rooms with many tables available, perhaps one of the few points in favor of the place. Unfortunately the kitchen is not the best. Overall, the appetizer was not bad, the seafood salad was good, the anchovies too. The mix of mussels (plain and alla sorrentina ) were not the best, many were "pulped". In the first few choices, the macaroni with fish sauce do not have an added value compared to how they would cook at home, good risotto but also not excellent one. The availability of two starters wouldn't have been a problem if they had both been very good. The expectations were high and from a restaurant like that, something more is expected. The service was a bit hasty as the dishes were taken away from us while we were still finishing eating. There is certainly room for improvement. It is a place with a lot of potential, but...
