Very bad option for ski holidays as the waiting times in reasonable times (8:15-10:00) are at least 25-50min. The only way to reach the slopes without a major wait is to be there between 7:45-8:00 or after 10. Whoever comes to Cortina for the first time to ski, I don't think they want to ski anywhere else in Italy.
