Previa prenotazione effettuata tramite Booking giorno 20 agosto, il giorno stesso arrivati in struttura, che a colpo d'occhio appare alquanto abbandonata a se stessa, la gentile e disponibile ragazza della reception dopo aver preso i nostri documenti ci ha consegnato le chiavi indicandoci che la camera era al 2p. scopriamo solo al momento che era priva di ascensore o meglio al piano terra e al 1° piano la possibile porta era coperta da un probabile cartongesso ma raggiungendo al 2 piano la porta dell'ascensore c'era; arrivati alla camera la porta di pre-ingresso era senza maniglia mentre la porta della camera aveva la chiave sempliciotta come quella delle comuni porte interne di un appartamento ed inoltre malfunzionante, il che poteva accedere qualsiasi persona; Dopo vari tentativi siamo riusciti ad aprire la camera ed abbiamo avuto la visione di una camera non di un 3 stelle ( a €161) ma quella di una comune pensione: il letto era chiuso dalle pareti sui tre lati, senza comodini perché non ci stavano ed impossibile ad accedervi lateralmente, presente un ventilatore fatiscente poiché senza climatizzazione, tende e copriletto che trasmettevano poca pulizia, bagno senza bidet! Ci teniamo a sottolineare che la struttura è piena di barriera architettoniche e quindi non adeguata ad un hotel a 3 stelle. Naturalmente la camera è stata visionata anche dalla ragazza che ci ha accolto la quale con evidente imbarazzo non ha potuto che confermare quanto da noi lamentato. NULLA è stato fatto per rimediare o trovare un'alternativa, la responsabile a quanto pare inesistente, un atteggiamento irresponsabile, davvero sconfortati non abbiamo avuto il coraggio di soggiornarvi al prezzo richiesto (€161), anche perché mia moglie da non molto era stata operata di femore e non potevamo mancare alcuni servizi oltre la pulizia che la diamo per scontata. Facciamo disdetta sul sito Booking perché riteniamo non conforme alla descrizione fatta. Ma nonostante ciò poco dopo aver lasciato l'hotel, questi signori ci hanno addebitato l'intero importo "comprensivo di tasse di soggiorno" ed hanno comunicato a Booking che non ci eravamo presentati in struttura ... una vera TRUFFA. Purtroppo solo successivamente ci siamo resi conto delle recensioni SUPER NEGATIVE che precedentemente erano state fatte da altri utenti, quindi pare che sia un atteggiamento abitudinario ed irresponsabile far pagare dei servizi inesistenti. Peccato di tutto ciò poiché la struttura avrebbe potenzialità visto la posizione favorevole sul lago.

Ein Hotel kann durchaus ein gewisses Alter erreicht haben, die Einhaltung hygienischer Mindeststandards sollte allerdings selbstverständlich sein! Der Aufenthalt in diesem "Haus des Schreckens" war einfach nur widerlich! Total verdrecktes WC; Schimmel und Haare in der Dusche; Staub und Dreck auf den Ablagen im Bad; Flecken und Haare in angeblich unbenutzten Betten; Haare in den Handtüchern; Dreck und Schimmel im Essbereich; Schimmel und Feuchtigkeit im Essbereich des Wintergartens - garniert mit gut gefüllten Aschenbechern. Das Hotel sollte ein Nichtraucher-Hotel sein: Woher kamen dann die ganzen nicht geleerten Aschenbecher? Wir wurden abends von unseren Nachbarn in den Schlaf geräuchert und morgens mit "wundervollem" Zigarettenrauch sanft aus dem Schlaf geweckt; und das zur frühen Stunde. Dank unserer kettenrauchenden Nachbarschaft hätten wir sonst beinahe den kulinarischen Höhepunkt dieser Odyssee des Grauens verpasst: Das opulente Frühstück! Wir haben noch nie schlechter gefrühstückt - zumal auch beim Frühstück ordentlich weitergequarzt wurde! Für 3 Nächte gebucht, sind wir nach nur einer Nacht aus den zum Schlaf dargebotenen brettharten Liegen mit dreckigen Laken geflüchtet. Abgeknöpft hat man uns 350,- (Kurtaxe inbegriffen) - nachdem wir der reichlich konfusen Dame an der Rezeption erklären mussten, dass sie sich um 100,- zu ihren Gunsten verrechnet hat. Die angebotene Nachbesserung durch erneute Reinigung glich einer Farce und findet hier daher nur am Rand Erwähnung. Eine Erstattung wurde abgelehnt; eine finanzielle Entschädigung wurde uns von booking kulanterweise angeboten. Das Hotel Lido hat sich auf ewig in meinem Gedächtnis manifestiert als das "Haus des Schreckens". Sicher werden jetzt einige behaupten, dass das Hotel ganz ok sei - das kann ich bei dem Preis nicht nachvollziehen (unsere kettenrauchenden Nachbarn sehen das sicher komplett anders). Eigentlich null Sterne, aber das geht leider nicht!

Es ist schwer in Worte zu fassen, wie schrecklich das ganze Hotel ist. Beim Einchecken sprach die Dame kein Wort außer Italienisch, und dann, als wäre ich behindert, schrieb sie alles auf, wofür ich bezahlte, weil ich bei der Ankunft bezahlen musste, als wüsste ich nicht, was ich gebucht hatte. Das Zimmer war eine Katastrophe. Siehe Fotos: morsche Fugen, Schmutz, Staub, eine Lampe, die vom Spiegel hängt usw. Es ist Zeit für eine gründliche Renovierung. Ich würde sagen, die Rezeption verdient kein Wort, aber das ist auch eine Enttäuschung. Wirklich. Keine Hilfsbereitschaft, keine Informationen, keine Auskunft. Der Herr hatte Wichtigeres zu tun, er hat online ein Auto gekauft oder so. Er mochte es nicht, als ich es wagte, nach zwei Tellern zu fragen. Er gab mir einen, sagte sofort, ich müsse ihn zurückbringen ..., also gab ich ihn zurück, weil er schmutzig war, und bekam dann zwei Pappteller. Da kleben Informationen aus dem Jahr 2023 darauf ... Ich bitte Sie. Wahrscheinlich liegen überall kaputte Drucker und Papierberge herum, Müll im Hof. Die Seitentür ist immer offen, es quietscht ständig, es ist furchtbar nervig und laut. Und das Highlight, das Frühstück. Schlimmeres habe ich noch nie erlebt. Verdorbene Milch, steinharte Brötchen, mehrere Tage das gleiche Gebäck und der gleiche Aufschnitt, um 9:04 Uhr gab es keine gekochten Eier. Ich fragte danach, die Antwort war ein Achselzucken. Drei Tage lang gab es Obstsalat, dann auch noch das, egal wann der Gast kam. SCHIMMELIGE ZITRONE!!!! Nicht nur ein paar Flecken, sondern ein Wunder, dass sie nicht von selbst in den Müll gelaufen ist. Schrecklich. Niemand hat mich auch nur einmal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Das einzig Positive ist, dass der Junge beim Frühstück sich anscheinend nicht zurückhalten konnte und sich sehr bescheiden benahm, und die Reinigungskräfte waren auch höflich. Keine Empfehlung!!!! Geldverschwendung.

This is quite possibly the worse hotel I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed in 50 pence a night hotels!!) ||||This was a nightmare from start to finish, firstly the hotel is not in Gargnano, it is in the next village on. we had to wait over an hour for the hotel to arrange a taxi. Then when we got there the woman at reception instantly offered us another room, and as her English and general communication skills were so bad we thought she wanted to charge us another 110 euro per night on top of what we were already paying. So the alarm bells were going instantly why would anyone sell you a room and try to get you to change room before you even get into the room. So we were shown to the room, which was really a single room with no air con, the decor, was horrible, the furniture cheap and worn out. but we though we are only here 2 nights, the area is nice lets live with it. when we got back to the hotel after a meal it was so hot in there that we could not sleep, so we went downstairs to ask for the upgrade, we were willing to pay whatever it was to get a nights sleep. However what we experienced was the most horrible attitude I have ever been subjected to, the woman from reception instantly went on the defensive no doubt as it was time for her to go home, she started saying that I was not able to read as well as showing us that she did not want to help us at all. I have never in my life seen someone with such a bad attitude towards customers in my life. she got so bad we said we would not be staying a second night and would leave in the morning, she instantly told us to pay right away, we said we would pay in the morning as is normal, to which amazingly she threatened to call the police!!!||||This hotel could be a nice budget hotel however the attitude of this woman if you have any problems or issues will give this hotel a very bad reputation. So my advice is to stay away and my advice to the hotel is get some friendly staff who can communicate properly with her guests, and treat them as guests not something that is stuck to the bottom of her shoe. I've seen many discouraging reviews, but I decided to give it a try and it was worth it! Maybe they did some renovation work, maybe some ppl want luxury for 50 Euro (breakfast included)- I want you to know it was a realy good stay. So good we booked another night on way back home.||Pros:||-very kind receptionist - and no problem if you don't speak Italian||-buffet breakfast with tasty cold cuts, not only sweet pastry as usually||-a beach just at the other side of the street (public one and with rentable sunbeds and a bar; get ready for the stones, as everywhere)||-lake view

It is difficult to write a fair rview on this hotel. It's one of the cheapest in the area thus one should not expect more than the standard of cheapest hotels. On the other hand it is still +50€, which should guarante some standard. I think that the weakest aspect is management of expectations. Pictures on booking.com looks different than reality. We had two doubles, one standard, one one "superior". Standard might be clean, but so cheesy that it was hard to judge. No aircon and hot, but very beautiful view on the Lago di Garda. "Superior" had aircon, pretty noisy, balcony and looked a bit newer. It even had a fridge, however not in operation. We had some cheese that we needed to keep in cold, but at reception said, that fridges do not work in any room and that they cannot help us. I have never eaten so much cheese in the evening like in Lido. I do recommend: Do not travel with a Salmon there. If you stay there longer, the poor offer for breakfast might appear as annoying...||The receptionist was rather administrator than a service oriented person. She felt offended whenever we asked question. Be careful if you go there you cannot buy basic hygienic staff at reception! ||On the other hand the location is great. Not far from Gargnano port, good stoney beach few steps away and excellent Restaurant Lido on the oposit side of Via Colletta.||Summarized: low budget with low quality, but with low expectations,...
