Lakeside Holiday Resort — Hotel in Domaso

Beautiful Resort on the lakeside, I stayed with my family and friends for two weeks the past month. The resort is really relaxing, it is located near the beach (2 minutes walk) but it also has a large pool at the front where the kids played all day and you can relax. There is a supermarket at 100 meters from the resort and also the lakeside walk is really nice. The Rooms are really large, clean, and with new appliances, complete with everything needed, Also there is a small pub/bar owned by the resort in front of the pool where you can buy coffee, beers or drinks to take with you on the side of the pool. The last good note is the management of the Resort, the owner is very welcoming and kind with every request we had, and also the girl at the reception-desk/pub was so kind to wait for us with our late night check-in and was always smiling every time we passed by. We stayed in the Eden Resort for 3 days, the rooms and location was great, but what we didnt know, that our building belongs to the property of Lakeside Holiday Resort. The owner of Lakeside Resort really tried to make our stay miserable (because we didnt booked our stay from him, but the other business). He treated us like worse kind of people. He was watching us from his little reception all the time we were near. We could not have our mattress in the common pool, because "it was too big", meanwhile his guests could swim on their bigger mattress. He made it really obvious that we are not welcome there. It was very weird situation, to feel like an intruder in holiday resort, that we paid for. We arrived here expecting to camp in our van and awning... we had left Venice in during a massive rain storm that followed us to lake como. When we arrived in Domaso we decided to get an apartment because everything we owned was soaked! ||We randomly chose Lakeside Holiday Resort and made the best choice ever! ||We were made to feel totally at home and given a lovely apartment. So nice in fact that it made up for the rubbish weather! We ended up staying for 2 nights. ||Aycan, who runs the place is a really nice guy. He looked after us really well and let us dry all our camping gear in the garage under our apartment. ||We left feeling energised and ready for 10 days more cold and wet camping across Europe! ||Totally...
