La Ronde Domaso — Restaurant in Domaso

Excellent food. That’s for sure! It arrived hot and promptly which surprised us as I find that Italian dining can be rather slow. The host was charming, however the waiters seemed unhappy or fed up. During the first plate clearing a shrimp tail fell off a plate as it was being picked up by waiter and it landed back on the table right in front the of my friend. No attempt to pick it up was made. Then when the fresh cutlery was put down, it got put directly beside the said shrimp tail, and the tail still didn’t get noticed by the waiter. Maybe because we dined during the last hour of opening the staff had become tired but it’s a shame it meant we had to dine with a shrimp tail besides us for most of the night. Poor service (no welcome at the entrance and we had to find our table ourselves otherwise we could have stayed a very long time waiting and that despite the restaurant wasn’t full) and worse pizzas ever tried in Italy and even in Germany where we live. The comments came from our kids and kids always tell the truth. We came due to the high reviews but we don’t know where they come from. We had 3 different kind of pizzas plus one kid menu. All pizzas pastries were far too thin and not tasty somehow. Last week in Gardasee we we could at least give a minimum of 3 stars to all pizzerias we tried.

Sorry to the owner but that’s the first time we give such low evaluation to a restaurant. Hope it will improve and wish good...

Look, it’s all edible and the seating is nice, but we did have a kinda gross limoncello spritz and got charged extra for burrata when the menu had it included in the dish? With nothing signifying that it would add to the price - even if it’s not printed on the menu, a warning when ordering would be nice. Pretty deceitful. Also the French fries are kind of giving just-chucked-some-frozen-fries-in-the-oven. Which is OK, hey - I’m not above oven fries, it was just a pretty pricey meal for the quality.
