Hotel is very pretty set in the Tuscan hills so view from our room was absolutely stunning. The hotel is very clean, rooms are air conditioned which is needed for sure , although showers were cold constantly, didn't mention it to staff as we were there in August in 35 degrees so felt it was silly to mention really. Also , not checking rooms and just going for the cheapest meant we were situated at the top of the hotel which meant no outdoor space which was a bit of a disappointment to me so check that when booking . Breakfast was a mix of continental meats, cheeses, rolls, croissants, cereals, fruit, yogurts but also a variety of cakes and tarts and even quiche ! Latter items not my taste for breakfast but might appeal to some at least there was a lot of choice. The hotel menu was small but the food was good and the service, the staff seem to be able to deal with all requests whatever language. |The main down side for us was that as we didn't hire a car we were limited on choices as walking far wasn't an option in August also on a busy road and we did walk to post office where there is also a café and bar but that was a hilly sweaty walk so not ideal. Meant we ate at hotel most nights which was fine but would have liked other options and some little nearby cafes and shop would have been welcome this was a little isolated in that respect. However, there is a shuttle bus service which is regular you have to book tickets in advance they are cheap and you can bus hop if needed for an hour and a half on same ticket. Taxis on the other hand are not at all cheap. |Hotel is near enough to Florence to bus it in and of course you have to visit Florence...

The hotel is nice , older now however very nice. The room was big and spacious on the third floor with a small kitchen which was a nice surprise.|The bathroom was a little tired however perfectly clean and functional.|The entrance into the hotel creeps up on you and is hard to see so be aware of this.|The underground car park is no problem and they took our cases from there to our room , a very nice touch.|The swimming pool , a little small however very nice .|There was road diversions when we visited , ( not the hotels fault however to say it was a nightmare is an understatement) .|We had dinner at the hotel one night and breakfast . I would say both were very good and you should give it a try .|The waiter / barman (Amed ) was great his attention to detail was simply perfect . ( The breakfast girls also get a big thanks , very nice very smiley) |Everything was done with a smile , Amed was a big asset to the hotel and made our stay so enjoyable.|The manager and front of desk staff were extremely helpful with any information we needed given immediately.|The hotel is quaint and good for a few nights out the city, the food and drinks were very good .||On the negative side of things , a sign at the side of the road would be a good thing telling you the entrance was coming up .|The price of a taxi to the centre was quoted as 50 euros. |When we arrived it was about 3 pm , we visited the pool area , this is a problem if there are a couple of families already there.|The Sun beds are at a premium and we could not get one for a good half hour .|There are only a couple of sun brollies which I unfortunately need so that was a small problem . This is not a negative...

Stayed here recently with my husband for our honeymoon and we had the most beautiful time. Eden Rock is located just a 10 minute bus ride from Florence. Taxis are also easily coordinated through the front desk. All the staff are so kind and genuinely care about you having a wonderful experience.

We checked in late due to an emergency at our previous stop, and Caterina from the front was so lovely in not only waiting for us, but ensuring we kept our dinner reservation at the hotel. She patiently went through all the different modes of transportation, including taxi services and bus routes. She set us up with a taxi for our excursion the next morning and even ensured we had breakfast set up since we were leaving so early. All the front desk staff we interacted with were so kind and knowledgable. The view from our room was spectacular. The most breathtaking view of our trip.

Everything in the restaurant was delicious! Dario made our experience so special. He was so knowledgeable about the restaurant and offered suggestions, which were always perfect! He was very friendly and a face we looked forward to seeing during our meals. He even remembered which wine I had with dinner when I emailed the hotel after check out to ask for the name.

We spent 3 weeks around Europe and this was by far our favorite stop! We cannot wait to...

We chosen to celebrate my 40th birthday at eden rock resort. It did not disappoint it was a beautiful, the pictures on love holidays did not do it justice. The gardens, the pool and dining area are lovely and made it a really special stay. It has breath-taking views over the city. We stayed in a deluxe suite and it had a well stocked mini bar at very reasonable prices, a free nespresso machine and tea bags, kitchen and dining area, large living room overlooking the beautiful tuscan terraces a lovely bedroom and bathroom with nice toiletries everything you need and more. The service we received from every member of staff could not be faulted. The hotel is 5 kilometres from the center but There is a regular bus service every half hour that takes you into liberta the no 25 from there you can get trams to all over the city. We were breakfast only and there was a vast selection of continental breakfast and a good selection of hot breakfast if you wish. We ate at the restaurant on the first night and enjoyed our meal and had a late lunch of pizza before heading into Florence sightseeing. Thanks to all the staff Matthew and Samantha

We really enjoyed our stay at Eden Rock. It is on the outskirts of Florence, but there is a bus stop at the hotel, so it was cheap and convenient getting to the city center for the sites, excursions, shopping and dining. Our room was a "Superior Junior Suite with Balcony" and we were very pleased with the upgraded room. It was very spacious and a had a large balcony with a couch, chairs and table, and recliners. The view was fantastic, including a view of Florence from up high on a small mountain (or large hill). We sat on the balcony each morning to drink coffee and tea, listen to the birds sing and bells ring from the large old church on the top of the hill to our left. Daniel (the owner?) Was super friendly and very helpful with how the bus system works, places to go, etc. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in Florence and this hotel was a large part of that experience.
