B&B Il Muro Vecchio — Hotel in Giardini-Naxos

We had the pleasure of staying at the top apartment for 1 week. We were a group of 6 attending a friend's wedding. The place was huge, 2 stories, ample balcony space and the most unique and well put together decor, most importantly, it was very clean. We were impressed. Location is exactly as shown, just a few steps away from the beach. The family who run the B&B could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We should up with two cars, unexpected, and they immediately took care of private parking for us immediately below the building. Everyone we sent a text, we got a resonance within minutes or a knock on the door. The 6 of us arrived at different time and checked out at different time, the family was happy to accommodate and didn't object once. The outdoor balcony is very well furnished, has a a spectacular view, and has a very tempting outdoor grill stocked with coal. We couldn't resist the invitation to have a BBQ. The best part, we ended up spending more time in the apartment than exploring towns :-). This actually surprised us... we felt we welcomed and comfortable. We would be foolish to not stay here on...

We arrived at he bed and breakfast and we were greeted by the lovely Maria. She showed us to our room a junior suite which was fabulous. Spacious with sitting area ,balcony snd nice bathroom plenty of hot water and again extremely clean as is the whole guesthouse. The breakfast is amazing it arrived outside your room on a little trolley with everything you would need for a healthy start to the day. Warm croissants, hard boiled eggs, yoghurts,juice,water,fresh fruit,cereals, bread and preserves. The position of the ll Muro Vecchio is less than a minute to the sea it’s just a fantastic position walkable to everywhere. We chose Lido Romantica beach it was very well kept snd for 2 beds and a parasol it was 20 euros a day. We enjoyed our stay so much we added an extra night. Clean towels everyday at the guesthouse Amazing !Well done to Maria and her staff your hard work makes your guesthouse the best,Thank you for an amazing stay in a Giardini Naxos we will be back....

Location, it was perfect, near Lungomare of Naxos and close to two supermarket and best of all close to the sea.

Room, modern clean and well maintained

Shared kitchen, I didn't notice from the pictures so it came as surprise, but was indeed in the room detail on booking. The kitchen was small and lacked basic cutlery, after asking to the owner, he said "It is a kitchen to warm a meal, not to cook". The kitchen was without freezer for some reason.

CCTV, every time we were in the shared space to eat I felt watched by the webcam, you could even see it rotating towards us

Service, they were super gentle and helpful but if I am on vacation I don't like to be waken up everyday by cleaning at 10 am to ask if I need room service, there was no way to add a do not disturb...
