Ristorante Mister Fantasy — Restaurant in Giardini-Naxos

You will be forgiven for thinking that 'Mister Fantasy' may not be the authentic / traditional spot for food in the picturesque bay of Naxos looking up to the stunning streets of Taormina... Let me tell you, we spent a week in Taormina and the food we had at Mister Fantasy was by the best we had. We ate at some very nice and very well reviewed and respected restaurants in the area, and this was better (and basically half the price).

We were in Naxos having been on a boat tour, and we looked on google reviews and this place was just about the highest rated - and I completely back it. The food was excellent, the service was excellent - I would 100% recommend eating here. My wife and I shared a salad and a pizza, and having eaten a pizza in a very well respected pizzeria in the hear of Taormina, this was honestly better.

What started really good with bruschetta ended with greasy, oily mediocre pizza. First, there was a mistake with order, we asked for bruschetta to share and then one pizza to share. Repeated few times to make sure as we saw some confusion in the lady’s face. After a wait that was longer due to them instantly trying to seat as many people as possible without really being able to handle it, we received 2 pastas. We should have taken it, but we really wanted that pizza. Ristorante Mister Fantasy truly impressed us with its wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm and friendly welcome that made us feel right at home.

Before our meal, we were delighted to receive complimentary olives, bread, and chips – a thoughtful touch that set a great tone for the evening. For our main courses, we opted for pizzas and a pasta dish with scampi, and both were absolutely delicious. The food was truly fantastic, showcasing the quality and flavor we hoped for.
