Be careful of "we'll give you an upgrade". Much to our disappointment, we were moved from the beautiful bed n breakfast home to an apt almost a mile WALK away, UPHILL. Not close to the town, no breakfast, they said "oh, just walk to us at 8am for the breakfast, it's very special." We reluctantly did and it was NOT special. We wondered which guests took our room, which all were on 2nd floor with windows and/or balconies overlooking the stunning acres of vineyards.

Read moreWe stayed here 2 nights in August and had the MOST lovely time. It is perfectly situated to explore the Chianti region, it's many wineries and (best of all!) it's a very short walk away from Dario Cecchini's restaurants. You can't ask for a better location!||||The room we stayed in was downstairs, directly across from the breakfast room. I was afraid at first that it would be very noisy in the morning but that wasn't the case--it was quite, comfortable, clean and lovely. There wasn't air conditioning but there WAS a fan which got us through the hot Tuscan nights. The bathroom was clean, the shower was large and the hot water was plentiful!||||Marina, the owner, is so welcoming, helpful and friendly--the perfect hostess. The breakfast that she provides in the morning is fantastic. Homemade cakes and pastries, cheeses, meats, fresh coffee---you can't ask for more!||||I highly recommend this BnB and absolutely look forward to...
