Hotel Las Vegas — Hotel in Jesolo

This is a family-oriented hotel, mainly marketed towards the German and Italian tourist market from what we could see, and as a group of nine English men, nearly all in our 60’s we were probably not the target demographic for this hotel, but we loved it.|Firstly, the highlights.|The real big one is the staff. Friendly and engaging from the moment we stepped out of our minibus to the time we checked out; they all had a smile and couldn’t do enough for us. Which included sorting out our travel passes on the day we ventured into Venice by public transport and quickly reconfiguring the beds in our rooms on arrival when they were not the twin beds we had requested.|The friendliness of the staff leads to the hotel having a very nice feel and ambience, which is contributed to by the public areas, which are modern and extremely light and airy, especially the dining and outside bar areas. We are more into R&R, rather than partying nowadays and as the majority of guests were families (several of three generations) on a beach holiday, we appreciated the relaxed feel of the hotel.|The food is very good here. We ate lunch in the outside section on arrival and all good. The selection at breakfast was very good and things were replaced quickly when they run out. We ate at 8AM each morning and which time we had a choice of tables. An hour later however and you probably would need to wait for the staff to clear you one. Service levels were very high at breakfast, and this included providing coffees from the proper machine behind the bar. Each morning after breakfast we would go down to the pool bar, and we really appreciated that we could take another coffee here and it was considered included in the breakfast service up to 11.00AM.|We also liked having our own allocated numbered sunbeds on the beach. Having five rooms between us we had five sets of sunbeds and umbrellas, and the hotel had allocated these all together in a group. |The location of the hotel is very good, but then you can say that about nearly every hotel on the Lido. The beach and sea right outside and the shopping, restaurant and bar epicentre that is Via Giuseppi Verdi is one block behind the hotel. It’s a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop if you want to explore further afield and the Caribe Bay Waterpark and Crazy Golf is a fifteen-minute stroll from the hotel.|The hotel is graded as a Three Star Superior, so there must be some weaknesses.|The main one is the rooms themselves in that although they are spacious, clean and comfortable and have desks, fridges and a small key operated safe in the wardrobe unit, they are a bit basic, and the double beds are the usual two single bed frames with a double mattress on top. In the rooms we had the bathroom was compact and although functional, anyone over six foot tall would have problems sitting on the toilet without snagging their knees on the sink. But as you are not going to spend a great deal of time in the room this was far from a showstopper.|The pool overlooking the promenade is very nice, but it is small and a couple of kids with their lilos would fill most of it. But again, not a big issue as the beach and sea are a quick stroll across the promenade.|And a very small one but the hotel lifts are very small and very slow, so if you are allocated a room on the fifth or six floors, set your expectations that you will be walking downstairs to breakfast. If you are not good with steps best to request a lower floor room.|None of the above detracted from our enjoyment of staying here and unlike the usual expression of “what goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” I am more than happy to tell people we had a great time a...

Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We made the booking just a week and a half before our stay and booked five nights.||||We stayed as two adults and two children, in a room with a double bed and two single beds. There wasn’t a huge amount of space in the room, but it was sufficient – and it came with a balcony. The room was cleaned daily, and you could get fresh towels every day if you wished.||||The location is absolutely perfect. The property has its own pool and a private beach, where you get sun loungers and a parasol reserved either by the pool or on the beach. It’s pure luxury – and it’s great that you don’t have to pay extra for the loungers. Each room comes with a set consisting of two sun loungers and one parasol. You can purchase an extra set if you want four loungers and two parasols – we did this without any problem.||||They also have bicycles you can borrow for free, which is a big plus if you want to get a bit further and move faster along the long street to reach restaurants or shops a bit farther away. The bikes aren’t the best quality, but they’re perfectly fine for getting around.||||Breakfast was excellent – a large selection and everything was delicious.||||The staff were extremely friendly...

schlichtes, schon älteres Hotel, das mit absoluter und noch nie gesehener Freundlichkeit der ServicemitarbeiterInnen sowie der Lage Fronte Mare punktet. Wobei, einiges wurde renoviert, die Lobby im Erdgeschoss und der kleine beheizte Pool, die Zimmertüren, da und dort etwas. Man merkt, dass schon was getan wurde, um das Hotel gemütlich und State of Art zu gestalten. Von außen wirkt das Hotel allerdings sehr alt, wenn ich mich nicht auf die hier verfassten durchwegs positiven Bewertungen verlassen hätte, ich hätte allein wegen der Optik nicht gebucht. Der Eindruck soll aber das tadellose, sehr feine Urlaubsgefühl, das in diesem Hotel vermittelt wird, nicht schmälern.

Unglaublich freundliche, sehr engagierte Mitarbeiter, jeder hat immer ein Lächeln für dich übrig, es wird einem jeder Wunsch fast schon von den Augen abgelesen. Auch fällt auf, dass es sehr viele Angestellte gibt und dadurch kaum Hektik und Überlastung aufkommt, ein Lob dem Hotelchef, der auch auf das Wohlbefinden seiner Mitarbeiter Wert legt. Das Frühstück ist wirklich vom Feinsten, qualitativ sehr hochwertig, von der Bar kann man sich wunderbaren Cappuccino bringen lassen, auch das Brot und die vielen süßen Kuchen usw sind wirklich sehr gut und optisch schön angerichtet. Wenn das Wetter passt kann man auf der großen Terrasse frühstücken, mit direktem Blick auf das Meer... toll... viel Platz, viel Auswahl, und das Frühstück geht von halb 8 bis 11... auch für Langschläfer sehr geeignet. Mittag- und Abendessen wird nicht angeboten, aber zum Hotel gehört ein kleines feines Restaurant zwischen Pool, Hotel und Strand, dort gibt es Pizza, Bowls, Burger mit Pommes usw. und ist den ganzen Tag bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Dadurch, dass das Haus schon älter ist und nicht so massiv renoviert wurde, findet man da und dort noch ein paar Überbleibsel von früher, zB ein goldener Aschenbecher im Lift und Balkontüren mit richtigen Klinken (Vorteil: Man kann sich nicht ungewollt aussperren 😉). Das macht den besonderen Charme des Hotels aus, so sagt zumindest meine Tochter, und die muss es wissen 😄. Mir und meiner lieben Gattin gefällt's auch sehr. Es ist einfach gemütlich hier. Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer. Dieses und das Bad sind echt sehr groß für Jesolostandard, wirkt fast wie ein Wohnzimmer. Sauber, sehr, aber halt auch sehr alt. Die Balkontür zieht, was uns aber nur wegen dem Wind und dem schlechten Wetter aufgefallen ist, guter Luftaustausch also garantiert. Hab eine Zeitlang gebraucht um herauszufinden, wie man das Windgepfeife abstellt, das schon sehr nervig war... einfach das Rollo komplett herunterlassen, dann ist man winddicht und es stürmt und pfeift nicht durch das ganze Zimmer 😄. Ansonsten zu dritt genug Platz, seitlicher Blick auf das Meer (und in unserem Fall auf die Hotelbaustelle nebenan, aber zumindest war der Blick nicht verstellt), funktionierende Klima, geräumiges Bad, Shampoos und jeden Tag sehr sauber geputzt. Schlicht, aber sauber und groß. Ach ja, Begrüßungsgetränk gibt's auch und die freundliche Rezeptionistin hat uns doch tatsächlich auf Anfrage einen Strandplatz in der ersten Reihe organisiert. Sehr nett, danke. Außerdem, wie schon öfter geschrieben, wurde uns das Gepäck auf das Zimmer gebracht und alles im Zimmer persönlich von einer anderen freundlichen Dame erklärt. Wie im Grandhotel der 70er Jahre, so cool. Und zu guter Letzt, wer ein schlichtes, gemütliches und ausgesprochen serviceorientiertes Hotel haben will, wo Preis-Leistung einfach passt, der Bucht hier und lässt sich von der Optik nicht abschrecken.
