Residence Molinari Lake Como — Hotel in Lezzeno

The entire stay at Residence Molinari was the best trip to Lake Como we have ever made. We have been to the region many times, but we have never been greeted and assisted so professionally and warmly by hosts. Check-in and check-out were both very pleasant. Questions, before and during the trip, are answered thoroughly within a short time. Besides the incredibly outstanding view from the flat and especially from the garden onto the lake and villas on the other side of the lake, the flat is well located. You can reach many lovely destinations by car, but also by public transport. The wonderful and super cute town of Bellagio is only a few minutes away, from where you can also take beautiful boat trips to other charming towns. But if you prefer to stay on site, you won't get bored either. You can swim in the lake or rent a boat from one of the two rental stations, both within easy walking distance. There are some great restaurants, especially for pizza lovers, Dani, the host, has a great tip, but he offers a recommendation for every taste. If you prefer to cook at home, you can also go to one of the two shops that provide everything you need.

We spent 6 nights in the Garden Bright apartment and all our expectations were either met or exceeded. Dani and Eros went out of their way to make sure we have all we need and they readily shared any tips or advice to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The apartment was very clean and tidy and the views are so beautiful. The apartment was spacious enough for our family of 4 and we appreciated the outdoor space to have breakfast and other meals at. Boat rental is just a short walk away, as well as a lovely small shop where we purchased fresh bread and cheese each morning. Lezzeno is a great base from which to explore and we so appreciated being outside of the busy Bellagio environment. There are a few beach options within walking distance, which was great. It is difficult to describe how great our experience was! Five stars is not enough. The apartment has truly stunning views of the lake from inside and from the spacious terrace. It is clean and quiet. There are several good restaurants within walking distance as well as a small market with all the basics. Fabulous apartment in a great location. We chose not to drive but used the bus and ferry to see Varenna, Como, and Bellagio. We stayed for 5 nights and Dani and Eros could not have been more helpful. They made dinner reservations, assisted us with bus and ferry schedules, one evening Eros drove us to dinner as it was raining! We are an older couple who have stayed in apartments all over the globe (before there was such a thing as air bnb or VRBO) and these guys are the BEST HOSTS we have ever encountered, we would return just to have the pleasure to stay with them again!
