We had a very disappointing experience. The restaurant was completely empty, yet they told us they were fully booked and refused to seat us. We were with a hungry child, and it was especially upsetting that they showed no concern or willingness to help. The lack of hospitality was shocking. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I’d like to respond to the owner’s feedback. We had just arrived in the area and our host recommended this restaurant, but did not mention that a reservation was required. As visitors unfamiliar with the local practices, we simply didn’t know. Had we been aware, we absolutely would have reserved—especially since we were with a child…

Additionally, we weren’t even able to finish explaining that we were hoping to have our child eat there (beside our wish to have a drink there), as we were immediately met with a firm “fully booked” response (twice..). Obviously if we were shut down twice, I will not start to explain that our child is hungry as we would have been shut down for the third time, too! We’re staying nearby and noticed that the restaurant did not appear full outside throughout the evening.
