Albergo Capanna d'Oro — Hotel in Lignano Sabbiadoro

This familiy owned hotel is located directly at the beach boulevard of Lignano Sabbiodoro, which means you only have to cross the road to reach the white (or golden as the name says) beach of Lignano Sabbiadoro. When exiting the hotel to the rear you are immediately in the center of the town, with many shops, bars,... Also there are supermarkets in walking distance.||||Directly at the boulevard the hotel bar offers refreshing drinks and a nice view to the beach.||||When booking I recommend taking full board (although I do not do this often), but the food is really excellent and the cost of the upgrade from half board to full board is really small. Das Hotel mit seinem netten Gärtchen hebt sich optisch positiv von vielen anderen Hotels in Lignano ab. Die Lage ist gut, direkt vorne an am Strand.

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Es war sauber und es war alles da, was man braucht. Positiv zu erwähnen sind die großen Balkone. Leider war es allerdings recht laut. Das Gebäude ist hellhörig. Sowohl die Straße, als auch die Reinigungskräfte, sind bereits früh am Morgen deutlich zu hören. Ausschlafen ist schwierig, was im Urlaub schade ist.

Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls in Ordnung. Die Auswahl ist nicht riesig, aber es ist für jeden Geschmack was zu finden. Gut gefallen hat uns die Terasse, auf der man das Frühstück im Freien einnehmen kann.

Das Personal ist freundlich. Besonders die Servicekräfte in der Hotelbar waren sehr nett.

Hunde sind erlaubt, was für uns ein klarer Pluspunkt ist, seit wir mit Hund reisen.

Parkplätze stehen hinter dem Hotel kostenlos zur Verfügung.

Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir zufrieden. Dennoch reicht es nicht ganz für fünf Sterne. In unseren Augen stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz. Das Hotel ist mit ca. 160.- Euro pro Nacht gar nicht mal so günstig. (Das waren die günstigeren Zimmer, nach hinten raus. Möchte man Meerblick, zahlt man noch etwas mehr.) Klar ist die Lage gut, aber letztendlich muss es sich mit Hotels in ähnlichem Preissegment und ähnlicher Lage messen lassen und da fallen dann einige Kleinigkeiten negativ ins Gewicht. Das WLAN auf dem Zimmer hat nicht zuverlässig funktioniert, es war schwierig länger als bis ca. 08:00 Uhr zu schlafen und in der Preiskategorie geht eigentlich auch beim Frühstück...

I am giving this hotel a 5 star rating based on its location, cleanliness and staff alone. I was a little disappointed with the room but I’m told that the hotel in slowly upgrading the rooms so|I expect in the not too far future for this hotel to be upgrade to a 4 star hotel.
