Good things first; The restaurant has good food. However, we have paid 1800€ for a „Villa“. Firstly, when we arrived there, we have not received any informations about how we have to act. Example we did not know where we have to put our trash can. Secondly, the „Villa“ was NOT CLEAN at all. In one bed room the light did not work and in the other the floor was full of dead bees. The airconditioning also did not work in one room. It was not possible to close one window and it would have been easy for a thief to get in our „Villa“. The garden was not groomed; the gras was dry and full of sharp things. The bathroom was small and people who are taller then 190 cm are not able to stand in the shower as well there was no toilet paper and we only received one towel each and if we wanted to change it they would have charged us 6 € each towel. There was no laundry detergent for the washing machine. For us it was not a „Villa“ it was a small appartement and the price-performance ratio is not fair for what we received. We are not happy with the hotel Le Dune. I hope they learn from our comment and they will do it better in the future. We wish you a wonderful time and a lot of success for the...
Read moreLe Dune fancies itself a hotel when it is in fact a hostal or glorified motel. Worthy of a two star transitory stay. The towels provided in the rooms are ripped and have holes. The cleaner routinely switches off the air conditioning in the room in order to presumably avoid consuming power. The beach is a trek away, down/up an unpaved, unkept sand path that is scorching hot and uphill. They advertise a ‘private beach’, which is in fact a tiny sectioned area wedged between public beaches and cordoned off so you can’t swim too far where windsurfers are abound. Parking is uncovered under the blazing sun and full of drifters in RVs.||We booked a boat for a day only for the reception to tell us the reservation had fallen through - the day it was scheduled. They conjured up an excuse that we’d canceled it the evening prior, whilst actually we hadn’t even been in at that time. Management is rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to cater to guests. ||Absolutely wouldn’t recommend unless you’re in desperate need of a place to crash (that regardless of its shortcomings, isn’t cheap!!!). Even then, Sardegna is full of marvelous places to stay - and this is...
Read moreSCAM! HORRIBLE SERVICE! STAY AWAY! Stay away from the dinghy rental. Staff gave us directions to go with and then unbeknownst to us upon return we were made to pay €200 for a broken propeller. We have stopped in one place and it was impossible for the propeller to be broken. This isn’t the first instance when this happened to the hotel. We’ve heard of stories of people losing fingers on the boats and hotel refusing to take responsibility. Staff at the reception is beyond rude. When asked for the name of the manager of the hotel, we were given a hoax name so that they got rid of us.
Please do not make the same mistake as us and don’t trust this hotel. We are already in conversation with authorities in the consumer law sector to flag it for potential tourists. If you were one of the affected by the poor services of this hotel, please don’t hesitate...
