The food looked lovely too bad we never got to taste it
As soon as you enter you can see the uneasy divide between the well dressed (suits and ties, dresses, heels ect.) seated outside with a terass view and the regularly dressed people wearing shorts and t-shirts considering it's 40°C in a place with €10 pizzas seated inside hidden away from the dreamy Instagram photos
We arrived without reservation and were quickly seated, this was the only positive in our experience
One member in our group is fluent in Italian so there was no language barrier
We waited 50 minutes for our order to be taken, no one came to check on us, we flagged down 3 different waiters but they all insisted we needed to get our waiter for our seating area which never arrived. We had been waiting for 45 minutes for someone to take our order so we asked a waiter for bread, he looked so annoyed and bought the bread five minutes later and practically threw it at us
We got up to leave and went to pay, the receptionist claims she "didn't see us" I'm sure considering she seated us? Thankfully she had the decency not to make us pay for the bread we had thrown at us and it would have been difficult to put a service charge anyways because there was literally none
This was an unpleasant experience with bad customer service although I don't blame the staff since the restaurant is clearly understaffed if it takes 50 minutes to have your order taken but would...
Read moreIf it was not for the view, I am not sure why masses will bother. It is an ok restaurant, food is good but the service is appalling. For whatever reason it is only the owner who gets the orders so you wait hours at his mercy. You may get a premium treatment if you are a local or an italian but forget it if you are a tourist. And worse is the actual wait for your food. You might even bump into Godot along the way. And when it comes, the crew is smug at best. No one seems to have the slightest remark of any duty of care. But hey, if you are one of the lucky ones to have your food and pretended that you enjoyed it because you already paid a fortune for an overpriced holiday and you just want to feel right about yourself, wait till when it is time to pay up. No, not the expected way, you just need to queue to pay as an insult to injury. The view is nice but be wary of the stampede at the...

Pro’s Prices are affordable, the view is truly fantastic
Con’s We were strongly advised spaghetti astice but they were served cold despite being one of the first customers and were unremarkably plain. Same for spaghetti scoglio. We ordered a mixed frittura but we were not impressed either: it wasn’t crunchy and rather soggy.
Some members of the staff were truly kind but the feeling we had was of poor organization and tension.
When we went to pay, we remarked that we didn’t have a great experience in a kind way but it didn’t seem to be well received. The staff member serving us prepared the POS but inserted €10 extra on the amount. It was probably an accident but it didn’t help in the context.
Nonetheless, the restaurant seems to have several loyal customers so I assume we just...
