Hotel Lauri — Hotel in Macerata

This hotel is in a great location. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station, and it is located very centrally in the old part of Macerata. About 2 minutes in any direction are restaurants, shops, grocery stores, farmacia, etc. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I speak some Italian, and the front desk spoke some English. ||||I got the room with panoramic balcony. It was on the very top floor, so very quiet and secluded. The balcony was very spacious with a table and chairs. ||||I did not utilize the dining area for food or drinks, so I can't speak to that. But the value was great. Ho recentemente soggiornato per due giorni all’Hotel Lauri di Macerata e posso dire che l’esperienza è stata complessivamente positiva. La camera era ben arredata, con un design moderno che mi ha colpito. Il letto era confortevole e la biancheria pulita, così come il bagno, che, sebbene fornito di tutti i comfort necessari, risultava un po’ datato e avrebbe bisogno di essere rinnovato, soprattutto rispetto a quelli di altre stanze che ho visto.

Una delle caratteristiche che ho maggiormente apprezzato è stata la dotazione del loft soppalcato, con una piccola cucina e un frigorifero: davvero comodo. Tuttavia, non sono riuscito ad attivare il Wi-Fi gratuito perché richiedeva una lunga procedura di registrazione, il che è stato un po’ fastidioso.

La posizione dell’hotel è strategica, a pochi passi dalle principali attrazioni della città, permettendomi di esplorare facilmente Macerata. Anche il personale è stato all’altezza delle aspettative: professionale e cortese. Il check-in e il check-out sono stati veloci e senza problemi, e ho trovato particolarmente utili i consigli della reception sui ristoranti locali.

Un altro punto di forza è il comodo parcheggio a pagamento, facile da raggiungere e molto pratico per chi viaggia in auto. In conclusione, il mio soggiorno è stato confortevole e tornerei sicuramente, nonostante alcuni piccoli aspetti...

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Maccerata. We were given good instructions how to get there. Detailed instructions were given to us for the car park but we had a slight problem finding the exact space until some local residents helped us. |We had a very good night's sleep.
