SARDEGNA SUITE Residence Porto Rotondo — Hotel in Olbia

The apartments are very well located in Porto Rotondo. There is a supermarket just nearby. There is a short cut to the port that we disocovered the last night. Unfortunately we did not get much information about the area from the staff working there. They were very polite and nice, we did not find them rude as other people report, but as a tourist it would be great with some tips about the area but they did not have any really. The apartment are more like 3 star than 4 star. ||There is a free shuttlebus to the beach that stops just outside the hotel. It runs regularely but not in the middle of the day (SIESTA) and it only runs every 20 minutes during high season (august) in june and july it runs more seldom. ||There are no wifi, we were told that they are waiting for fiber installation. ||The pool is nice and it is not many people there. You are not allowed to have any balls or madresses or other floating devices so kids can not really play in the pool, which was a disappointment for our kids, but if you are travelling only adults it is great of course. ||We did not have any problem with electricity as other people reported. ||Our flight was late and we were charged 50 euros for coming late. I find that really annoying and think they should install key-lookers so people could get there keys if they are late and check in the following morning. More people staying in other apartments were travelling on the same flight as us and they also had to pay the extra 50 euros. ||I also think that cleaning should be included in the price and not be charged extra and it should also include cleaning of kitchen that we had to do ourselves. ||||We booked through the hotel it self and got a last minute offer so the price...

We had a large appartment with a great terrace - everything was allright in the rooms, except in the neighbourhood there was a new bar, and it was very loud from the air conditioner and one day there was terrible (tecno) Music until 1 o clook. Wifi didnt work every day. On TV only italian channels (but this didnt matter to us). Unfortunatly the walls are very thin, and so you could hear everything from the other guest - Baby crying in the night, disputes and moving of the furniture :-(||The Service was very friendly and good. Maybe an other appartment the next time, and everything...

Det var tredje resan till fantastiska Sardinien och det 6:e hotellet vi bott på. Vi har alltid varit mycket nöjda med standard och service på denna trevliga ö. Men tyvärr inte denna gång. ||Informationen om hotellet visade sig felaktig i flera avseenden. Det stämmer inte att detta ska vara ett fyrstjärnigt hotell som anges på flera ställen i marknadsföring.||Det saknades utrustning som utlovats: hårtork, säkerhetsbox, wifi, kaffemaskin, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn. På den stora terrassen stod fyra hårda pinnstolar och ett bord. Vi satt på handdukar och åt för att stå ut. Vi hade en skyffel, men ingen sopborste. Vackert inredda rum står det men det är en mycket stor överdrift. Enkelt inredda mer korrekt. Fleecefilten i sängen var så äcklig, noppig och gammal att den fick hänga på balkongen hela veckan. Om enkel köksutrustning innebär tre små och olika (!) dricksglas, ingen skärbräda, ingen diskpropp, inga vinglas, två stora pastakastruller utan lock och en sönderrispad teflonpanna så är informationen korrekt, men jag tror förväntningarna normalt är lite mer. Vi klagade på utrustningen och fick glas (men inget annat) efter flera påminnelser i receptionen. Då hade vi redan hunnit köpa var sitt vinglas. ||Personalen är ohjälpsam och arrogant. Förskräcklig! ||Kanske hade vi otur och fick ställets sämsta lägenhet, men vi bokade genom charterbolag så vi förväntade oss verkligen att informationen skulle stämma. ||Poolområdet var dock bra och trädgården väl underhållen. Läget på hotellet var också bra. Vi hade en ok vecka trots allt, men inte beroende på hotellet utan därför att Sardinien är fantastiskt och Porto...
