Madrugada — Restaurant in Olbia

Great coffee- had it 3 of the 6 days I was vacationing there. The croissants were so good (the ginger one was my favorite). The service was fine, it is just different than the United States. The waitresses don’t hover. I found it easiest to go inside to pay. It’s more casual than what we normally do in the Us. A lot of people in the reviews are calling the staff rude but it is just different than what I think people are used to. Actually, very friendly staff when I came back the second day, the waitresses remembered me and welcomed me back. Everyone spoke English which was super helpful for me. I enjoyed this...

Proprietario eccezionale, ottimi cornetti e brioche ma devo rilevare una spiacevole esperienza avuta con una cameriera il mattino del 10 agosto . Eravamo in quattro ad un tavolo esterno e accanto a noi vi erano altre 4 persone, il nostro tavolo era esposto per metà al sole e ovviamente abbiamo provveduto a spostarlo un pochino( mezzo metro) verso l'ombra, eravamo già a 37 gradi alle dieci del mattino . Questo movimento ha fatto urtare la cameriera che ha esordito sbuffando e scocciata sostenendo che non poteva passare tra i tavoli!!! Assolutamente esagerata e assurda poiché avevamo ben calcolato lo spazio del passaggio anche con i signori seduti al tavolo accanto che giustamente hanno rilevato la poca professionalità della persona che non ha tenuto affatto in conto una esigenza reale del cliente pensando solo a se stessa e a creare malcontento tra la clientela. Ripeto che eravamo stati attentissimi a creare i presupposti per il passaggio della signorina poco gentile e poco educata perché noi almeno conosciamo le regole delle buone maniere. Avevamo già ordinato altrimenti ci saremmo alzati per andare via . Ci siamo guardati tutti in faccia e ovviamente non siamo più ritornati . Worst place ever. The food is awful, nothing fresh or tasteful (almost impossible in Italy), everything beyond overpriced and when I complained about the unprofessional service the owner told me that due to he is older than me so I have no rights to complain.
