Because of the positive reviews I wanted to come to this place since we arrived in Porto Rotondo. We saved it for our last night and unfortunately it was a disappointment. Service was terribly slow, we had to constantly call our waitress as she disappeared inside. Food was just ok. Cherry on the top of the cake: the staff smoking right next to the tables. You can enjoy your food with a side of smoke.

Update after response: yes, I was inattentive when I ordered my dish , that’s why I didn’t even bring this issue up. But since you did… it took a long time until we could even place an order, because the waitress didn’t come for a long time. Then, after another long wait, she brought bread. Pure bread, no butter or olive oil. And we could not ask for it because she disappeared - again. Then another long wait for the food to arrive. More than one hour had passed and by then we already had a terrible experience. The woman who tried to fix our problem (not our original waitress) was very nice and friendly, but unfortunately the situation was already too bad.

About the smoking: the exit is right next to the tables. We could smell cigarettes the entire dinner. Not ideal for a pregnant woman with a child. I suggest you find another...

I rarely rate anything on Google, but this was sad. I’m second generation Italian and this is honestly a disgrace to the country and culture. The food was beyond salty to the point that it was non-edible practically. Almost as if they had salted their pasta once it was plated. The service was horrendous, the owner was running all over the place, the plates took forever to come, and he was more preoccupied opening bottles of prosecco for the at other tables instead of focusing on all the clients equally. At two points during the night when he was taking our orders he interrupted us to talk to other clients or his staff in the middle of the conversation and didn’t even apologize. The prices for drinks were horrendous. At the price this restaurant charges, you’re far better off taking a drive to Porto Cervo, paying a few dollars more and getting a true dining experience. It is beyond me that this restaurant can remain open in this country. Very sad. Stay away. Go into the smaller streets and support local Italian restaurants that operate for the love of cooking and serving their guests. Not a restaurant that cares about their bottom line profit and image, yet can’t even get that...
