Hotel La Vela — Hotel in Passignano sul Trasimeno

We visited the area as we are getting married next year at Villa San Crispoloto.||We arrived at Perugia and were taken back by the picturesque landscapes. We then drove into Passignano Sul Trasmieno and automatically fell in love. The area was beautiful, relaxing, calm and clean. Also we were only 45 minutes away from Assisi, Siena, Pienza and 5 minute drive from Tuoro. ||||We checked in to La Vela and were welcomed by the cheery disposition of Silvie. The hotel is family run and has such a warm and welcoming feeling. She is by far the most kindest, caring and thoughtful person we have ever met. She was always willing to give us advice, recommend places to visit and best ways to travel to different cities. Her staff also have the same attitude and were always willing to help and listen. She took such great interest in our wedding and was making us feel at ease about decisions we had to make.||||The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Maid service every day. Access to WIFI and air con (which believe me was wonderful in 38 degree heat)! There is also a lift which is very helpful when you have heavy suitcases. We had a large wardrobe and enough hangers to hang our clothes.||||The location was also fantastic as the hotel had parking for customers and was around a 5 minute walk from restaurants and they lake. ||||It's safe to say that i will be returning next year to see Silvie and her team and will also recommend that my wedding party stay there too as I know they will be looked after...

(Premetto che lavorando nella ristorazione, la mia recensione sarà obiettiva senza denigrare per forza, ma solo espondendo situazione/fatti reali)|Avevo un voucher smartbox e ho deciso di usarlo nei giorni di ferie... al lago, in un posto in cui non sono mai stato... opto per il trasimeno...la foto di smartbox di passignano sul trasimeno era invitante... nel prenotare propongo (visto che il pacchetto è per 2 e io sono solo), di fare la mezza pensione... a loro non va bene perché è alta stagione, ecc.. così prenoto comunque la singola (alla fine mi danno una DUS..doppia uso singola)... |arrivo all'hotel, il garage dicono che è pieno...hanno qualche posto auto esterno (pochi) ma per fortuna in questi pochi giorni me la sono cavata abbastanza bene..le camere sono "a chiave tradizionale" e c'è la possibilità di portarsele dietro quando si esce, il bagno è un po stretto... ha le mattonelle stile anni 80, senza piatto doccia, quindi ogni volta che ci si lava... il bagno diventa un mini Trasimeno :D, ai sanitari e doccia ci sono ancora i rubinetti acqua calda/acqua fredda anziché il miscelatore, nel pavimento c'è la moquette, letto comodissimo, condizionatore nuovo, piccolo balconcino con parziale vista lago... purtroppo davanti c'è la ferrovia... quindi di giorno potrebbe essere un po rumoroso (io sono sempre stato fuori di giorno, quindi faccio una ipotesi), anche le pareti non sono insonorizzate e si sentono tutti i ca...voli degli ospiti accanto... insomma ci sarebbero da fare degli investimenti importanti che essendo la struttura a gestione "familiare" non penso che abbiano la possibilità finanziaria di fare...vengono forniti 2 mini shampoo, 2 saponette e 2 bicchierini di plastica... da ammirare che ogni giorno la stanza viene pulita e tutti i giorni fatto il cambio della biancheria (nelle strutture 4-5 stelle per esperienza personale..non è così)...la colazione è minimal, ma comunque con dolce e salato, hanno torte fatte in casa, panini, prosciutto, salame, formaggio, yogurt, fette biscottate, mouesli, corn flakes,marmellatine, nutelline, burrini, succhi di frutta, acqua...|Hanno anche un ristorante che può essere usato senza prenotazione, decido di provarlo... il menù è molto vario, adatto per vegetariani, vegani, c'è il pesce e la carne, i prezzi sono leggermente meno cari rispetto ai locali sul lago...(nel listino è omesso il coperto 1.50 € che viene fatto pagare al momento del pagamento del conto), le porzioni sono abbondanti e si mangia molto bene, quindi vi consiglio come ho fatto io...di ordinare 2 portate e poi eventualmente chiedere per la terza...i camerieri sono un pò freddi... vanno sul tavolo senza rivolgere nemmeno una parola (chiedere se è andato tutto bene prima di togliere il piatto sarebbe una cosa carina... ma forse sono io che sono abituato a rispettare i standard LHW...lavorando in un 5 stelle)...apprezzo che la cameriera biondina si è andata ad informare su una cosa che avevo chiesto a cui non sapeva rispondere...|la tassa di soggiorno è a parte...e viene fatta pagare cash al check out (attualmente 1.50 € a persona a notte).||al check in non è stato necessario avere il mesaggio di conferma e l'assegno di smart box :)||Personale gentile e disponibile|Tutto sommato..penso di...

Insgesamt ein sehr sympathisches und gut geführtes Hotel. Unserer Meinung nach - wahrscheinlich das beste Hotel in Passignano und, verglichen mit anderen Hotels in der Stadt, - absolut empfehlenswert!||||||||Sehr gut:||||- Außerordentlich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, kein Wunsch bleibt unerfüllt, keine Frage unbeantwortet, nichts ist zuviel, fließendes Englisch und etwas Deutsch. Hut ab!||||- Trotz Eisenbahn (s. u.) doch bessere Lage als bei allen anderen Hotels der Stadt||||- Es funktioniert alles (gar nicht so ohne Weiteres üblich in Italien) - keine kaputten Steckdosen, oder Rollos, oder Wasserhähne, oder Lift, etc., etc., etc. ||||- Die Zimmer sind zwar einfach eingerichtet, aber es fehlt an nichts||||- Das ist das einzige Hotel in der Stadt mit einer abschließbaren Tiefgarage + ein hoteleigener Parkplatz draußen (ebenfalls abschließbar)||||- Täglicher Wechsel aller Bade- und Handtücher (Bettwäsche ca. alle 2 - 3 Tage)||||- Sehr leise und gut einstellbare Klimaanlage||||- WiFi überall im Hotel und auch auf dem Zimmer, und ist tatsächlich kostenlos||||- Kostenloser Kühlschrank und Safe auf dem Zimmer||||- Für italienische Verhältnisse - sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück, kein löslicher Kaffee: Espresso und Cappuccino werden frisch an der großen Bar-Maschine zubereitet||||- Alles und überall sehr sauber||||- Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut top!||||||||Weniger gut:||||- Die Eisenbahnlinie verläuft keine 50 Meter vom Hotel entfernt und ist SEHR laut + relativ viel Auto- und Mofa-Verkehr ums Hotel herum. Wer mit offenem Fenster schlafen mag (wie wir), kann es vergessen. Zum Glück sind die Fenster auf dem Zimmer WIRKLICH schalldicht und die Klimaanlage ist - ebenfalls zum Glück - WIRKLICH flüsterleise: Bei dieser Kombination ist die Nachtruhe völlig ungestört. ||||- (Unsere) Putzfrau hätte vielleicht etwas aufmerksamer und fleißiger sein können, allerdings kein großes Drama.||||- Die bautechnische Lösung des Duschabflusses im Badezimmer ist nicht gerade die beste: Es gibt nämlich keine Duschwanne, das Abflussloch ist mittendrin im Fußboden… Wenn sich einer von uns gerade geduscht hatte, musste der andere vor dem Betreten des Badezimmers ca. 10 Minuten lang warten - der ganze Fußboden war sonst eine einzige große Pfütze… ||||- Das Bett und die Matratzen waren einfach super, wogegen die Kopfkissen - billig und schlecht… Hart, schmal, mit irgendeiner verklumpter Kunststoffwolle gefüllt -...
