La Bottega dei Tramonti — Restaurant in Passignano sul Trasimeno

Had my best meal in Italy at this beautiful deli. A cheese plate with fresh burrata, goats cheese and another one I can't remember - beautifully and lovingly prepared by the friendly and passionate chef who also served me. She even picked herbs for my salad from the little garden beds at the front - everything was so fresh!! The view looking out on the lake was beautiful and all accompanied by a perfect aperol spritz! I wish I could eat there again and again. I would if I lived...

If Italian food biodiversity can be well represented at all....well ... this tiny intimate and lovely place with a great view on the Trasimeno Lake does indeed contribute to its representation. You might not know or even guess the variety of sustainable products they select and prepare to offer you a unique journey in taste and culture. A Place like that Is usually found in cities like Milan. We are very lucky to have It here. Ratio Quality...

We visited this wonderful place on one of those rainy evenings. We were treated to the most delicious food we’ve had in Italy—everything from the prosciutto to the rum baba was absolutely exquisite. My husband and I were completely delighted, and we’re already dreaming of coming back to this...
