A dear friend of ours suggested we stay at this nice hotel in front of the sea and we found it awesome! We were warmly greeted by serviceable staff. We really appreciated the kindness in granting us the use of the parking area for us and for some relatives and also for keeping our bags! The rooms are spacious, clean and provide everything needed for a comfy stay. I loved the beautiful view from my room indeed, saw some awesome sunrises!! Breakfast is abundant, fresh and yummy! We'd definitely recommend it as the quality is just right with the price asked! Thank you Gennaro and Hotel Staff ;-)!
Gracias Gennaro y personal...
Read moreThanks to Trip Advisor reviews we chose this hotel which is just outside of Pozzuoli itself. We got a taxi transfer from Naples airport via the hotel, about €30 each way. A medium sized hotel, with stunning sea views from some rooms, old fashioned furniture -no matter, quiet, kind helpful staff, towels changed every day, breakfast fairly simple, and within 5 minutes walk to a train station into Pozzuoli (10 mins on train) and other areas. Supermarket just nearby hotel. Walk up hill 15 mins to the local Volcano crater Campe Flegrei which blew up wiping out the town of Tripergola (not sure when). You can walk down into. Lots of sites to see around Pozzuoli and also Baia. Italian people friendly and helpful. I have given this hotel 4 stars but it deserves 5 stars, apart from our bed which although it was a superking big bed, it was a hardish orthopaedic mattress. Dont expect loads of toiletries but they did provide small drinks fridge in our room which was a double sea view. Shower good, bathroom large with a bidet too. Would recommend for its basics and location. We did not hire a car so walked or took handy train. Taxi from Pozzuoli back to hotel good price at €10. Reception small area, nice staff, and a big thanks to Gennaro our support for gluten free food advice and local restaurants etc."La Cucina Degli Amici" restaurant in Pozzuoli excellent & gluten free. Eat pizza........... its outstanding! Eat pasta, its gorgeous and of course eat FISH.... masses of wet fish shops in the area and fishermen out in boats in harbour. Amphitheatre in Pozzuoli awesome. Thermal Baths in Baia...
Read moreHaving spent a week in Naples a few years ago, I wanted a base to stay for 11 nights while I toured around Campania in a rental car. As such I did a lot of research to ensure I found the right hotel. I wasn't disappointed.||||The location is convenient, being a five minute drive to the main roads that will get you round Campania. Also, a five minute walk to Arco Felice station getting you to the centre of Naples easily. The neighbourhood is more local, rather than touristy, which I liked.||||Free parking at the rear of the hotel, and a gas station just 100 metres away that had the cheapest fuel I saw. ||||The staff were all friendly and helpful, and Gennaro, the owner I assume, was exceptionally accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and his English was way way better than my Italian.||||My room (111) was excellent, with a view over the bay. The bathroom was rather small, but was not a problem. People larger than me may struggle with the shower though.||||The real bonus for me was that the room had Sky Sports so that I could watch the mighty Spurs conquer all ..... well, they did while I was there!!||||Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, and even a machine to squeeze oranges. I think they do dinner, but I wasn't too sure as I never saw anyone in the restaurant while I was there. Plenty of eateries within walking distance anyway.||||All in all, an excellent hotel representing good value for money, and I really hope I get back there...
