Da Roberto’s in Pozzuoli is the kind of place that stays with you long after the meal is over. It’s more than a restaurant — it’s a second home, especially if you’ve had the pleasure of being a regular like we have for years.
From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family. There’s a warmth in the air — from the way the staff greets you to the sounds of laughter and clinking glasses — that’s impossible to fake. It’s cozy, unpretentious, and full of heart. And at the center of it all is Nonna, who truly is the soul of the place. She’s in the kitchen and sometimes even out front, making sure every plate has that homemade touch you can’t find anywhere else.
The food? Always perfect. Their calamari fritti are crispy, tender, and seasoned just right, it’s hard not to order them every single time. And the spaghetti aglio e olio e pepperoncino is pure comfort on a plate. Simple, yes, but made with so much flavor and care that it’s unforgettable. Wash it down with their house wine, which is easy-drinking and pairs well with just about everything they serve.
We’ve celebrated birthdays here, had long Sunday lunches, and stopped in for quiet midweek dinners. And every time, it felt like coming home. Saying goodbye to Da Roberto’s will be tough, it’s not just the food we’ll miss, but the people, the atmosphere, and that special feeling you get when a place becomes part...
Read moreAte here twice during our 6 day trip to Pozzouli/Napoli. Came across it by chance the first time and thought we’d give it a try.
Amazed by everyone who works there, all so kind and helpful. And the food was the best we had anywhere on our trip, so good we had to come back a second time.
The bruschetta, arancini and crocchet were delightful, and then there is the pizza - it is hands down the best pizza we have ever had in our lives, incredible!
And for the price we paid, it is unbeatable. We got so much food we could t even finish it all and it is half the price of what we paid anywhere else, but 10 times as good!
If we are ever back to Pozzouli/Napoli this will definitely be the first...
Read moreIt's a beautiful restaurant with a great ambience. The service is very good and my hat fell on the floor and got picked up. I really appreciated that. The Pizza and Pasta was, in my opinion, exceptional and very delicious and was presented very appetizing. The Tables were very clean and organized and I had absolutely no complaints. They spoke English like it was their mother language too. The items on the menu are not expensive at all. I would rate my experience 10/10 and my dad would too. We recommend giving Da Roberto...
