Our dinner at the Tribus Resturant was fantastic. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the food and able to explain the food recipes in english. It was the best taste experience I have had in a long time. The tapas starters varied across the spectrum of fish fruit and own cooked breads. Beautiful tastes of tuna salmon and squid marinaded in lemon, apple and others fruits bringing out the natural flavors of each to a unique combination that is hard to describe. This left us ready for the main course of pastas. The choice of own cooked pastas is wide but we chose the linguine with a shell fish sauce that was gorgeous. We asked for one plate of pasta between the two of us to leave just enough room to enjoy the unique range of sweats. We chose the white chocolate tart which was a beautiful balance of white chocolate taste with the lightness of a mousse topped with a snow like topping (not icing sugar not meringue and not cream) which lifted the taste to heaven. We were well served by Dennis who was interested in the food and keen to help us understand what we were eating, how it was cooked and the designed intension of each dish. His enthusiasm matched the high quality of this taste experience. Of course food like this is not cheap, but it is good value and we thought worth every penny. ...

Scoperto grazie a mia moglie, ho cenato in questo locale due volte. Una ad agosto, l’ultima volta a febbraio. In entrambe le circostanze l’esito è stato più che positivo. Ma con l’ultima esperienza si sono veramente superati. (La recensione sul cibo sarà di quest’ultima visita)

Partendo dal locale, questo si presenta moderno ed accogliente con toni caldi e piacevoli. Molto grande all’interno. Zona esterna un po’ blanda, con affaccio su un parcheggio del supermercato sottostante. Forse quella zona andrebbe un po’ rivista, rendendola più piacevole con qualche ornamento nei dintorni per distogliere la vista da quello che c’è di sotto. Mise en place minimal, personalmente molto apprezzata.

Una volta scansionato il QR Code decidiamo di ordinare il loro mix di tapas, un carpaccio di gamberi da fuori menu, un primo ed un secondo. Le tapas sono dei veri e propri mini-assaggi (caldi e freddi) che stuzzicano l’appetito e fanno comprendere a cosa si andrà incontro nelle restanti portate. Abbiamo molto apprezzato che lo Chef sia venuto a tavola a spiegarci i piatti proposti, dandoci spiegazioni su esecuzione e tecnica utilizzata. Su tutto abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo un pesce azzurro marinato in aceto e completato con scalogno uvetta e pinoli. Fantastico nel sapore, nell’abbinamento e nella presentazione che seppur molto minimal ci è piaciuta tanto. Il carpaccio, proposto dalla cameriera molto gentile e disponibile per tutta la cena, ha superato le nostre aspettative egregiamente grazie anche ad abbinamenti più che studiati. Primo piatto, linguine ai crostacei e agrumi, ben amalgamato con sapori per distinguibili. Pasta al dente e cremositá sopraffina. Il secondo è stato più apprezzato del primo con un tocco di dentice su nocciole caramellate, spuma di cavolfiore e tartufo. Bellissimo nella presentazione, un’estasi nel gusto. Ci lasciamo tentare anche dal dolce e ordiniamo una classica fetta di cheesecake di loro produzione. Molto buona, ben presentata. (Nota di merito: pane di loro produzione fantastico).

Conto: 2 antipasti, 1 primo, 1 secondo, 1 dolce, 3 calici di vino, acqua e dolce: 144 €. Onesto e veritiero che rispecchia la qualità proposta.

Se proprio vogliamo trovare il pelo nell’uovo, l’unica cosa che avrei da ridire è che nonostante sia tornato a distanza di qualche mese, i piatti proposti in carta sono più o meno sempre gli stessi con poche novità e poca scelta. Potrebbe esser fatto qualcosa in più, sia per dare l’opportunità di scegliere cose diverse ogni volta che si torna, sia per dare più scelta al cliente.

Per il resto, perfetto....

I made a reservation online but it wasn’t necessary. Came for dinner at 1900 on a Sunday - still enough light (early Sept) for viewing the bay most of dinner. Service was prompt and polite. We sat outdoors on their lovely patio and had the nice water view from our table. We skipped antipasti in favor of primi and secondi. Our pastas were delicious! And we loved our seafood main dishes. We shared the millefoglie which was a perfect dessert. Easy parking on street (hourly paid) and they have their own lot, which looks like it might be shared with the neighboring apartments.
