We stayed 8 persons in this small hotel in Procida for 4 nights. Our friends got room no 3 that had no windows and walls where thin as paper, the smell from the toilet was horrible (the price was still over 100€ a night! In Ischia we had small hotel with a pool, with the same price!). After complaining they got room no 1, that is next to reception and has basically no windows. The shower in room no 1 did not work properly so my friend took showers in our room no 7. The islands busyest road is next to the hotel. My family got room no 7, that was nicely decorated with windows, but when the night came and you should sleep, it was impossible because of the noise of the cars and motorbikes driving by all night. I had earblugs but no help at all. The out door did not isolate the noice. Other friends paid little extra and got a room with a small terrace and sea view and where happy with that. The breakfast was lousy at first morning (only cakes) but when the weekend came they prepared really tasty salad and had more options. The staff was nice, except first night some young receptionist guy invited his friends to hang out in the reception and my friends could not sleep in room no 1. Very unprofessional. I think we search some other...

Luigi and his family could not have done more - they were friendly, helpful and arranged things for us without any inconvenience. The room was clean and quite large but the terrace... well it was magnificent! The breakfast was exceptional and all the pastries and tarts were freshly made by the signoria. Eating breakfast in the garden was a treat. My Italian was pretty good but their English was pretty good as well. Don't be put off by the thought that it might be a little too far from the main port as I think the side of the island where the B&B is has more to offer with the Lido just around the corner and a Marina of yachts to drool over and it's a very short bus ride to the main port anyway - the island is only 3 miles long and you can hire electric bikes to get around. As I mentioned before, Procida and our stay at Il Leone di Mare was wonderful....
Read moreManaged to book this wonderful exquisite hotel for our last two days in the area. Travelled the short distance by ferry from Naples to the beautiful Procida. Short bus trip from the harbour to the hotel was really easy and stress free. Greeted by pleasant and polite staff who showed us to our room. Wow, beautiful! Then spend the rest of our day, by the pool, in the well manicured top class secluded garden area. The pool was fabulous, with incorporated jacuzzi jets at the shallow end. Outdoor showers and toilet facilities nearby as well as a well stocked bar. We were served by really friendly staff who made us feel so special. Already love this place and cannot recommend any higher! Well done to the staff and management here, we will hope to return again and again when visiting this...
