La Tonnara Hotel — Hotel in Procida

We traveled with a group of eight. The view and location to be on the water was great. We had deluxe double rooms with sea view-rooms with large balconies, lounge chairs, and a table and chairs overlooking the water. Definitely the way to go. Great breakfast including egg choices made to order. About a 10 minute walk down hill into town. The hotel could use a facelift, and one of the young women at the front desk seemed put out when you asked for information. She also recommended Donna Sofia restaurant- great antipasto but the rest was not very good at all. We spent two weeks in Italy and only had two poor food experiences, this being one of them. BUT we also ate at Il Delfino recommended by many and it was FANTASTIC! Reservations needed for dinner.||We also rented a boat for a day to take us to The Isle of Capri and Positano. We stayed at La Tonnara hotel for six days and enjoyed almost all - hospitality and readiness of staff, cleanness, spacious room with balcony view, spotless bathroom, sun terrace on the roof and, last but not least, excellent location. The breakfast is relatively rich with regard to common italian customs. This hotel is probably one of a few in beach vicinity on Procida island (both paid and free access). Local bus operates regularly all day between the main entry harbour and yacht port, where the hotel is located. La Tonnara : dies war die BESTE Entscheidung, die wir treffen konnten. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Yacht-Hafen, klein aber fein, unser Zimmer Nr. 103 mit Balkon mit herrlichem Blick auf den Yacht-Hafen und auf einige Ristorante und so typisch ital. Häusern. In wenigen Gehminuten haben wir einige Ristorante bequem per Fuß erreichen können und ein paar Schritte weiter fanden wir auch einige Super-Märkte. Das familiengeführte kleine Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alle Personen, angefangen vom Inhaber, Rezeptions-Personal, Angestellte, waren überaus höflich und sehr sehr hilfsbereit. Erwähnenswert ist auch noch die Einrichtung in unserem Zimmer Nr. 103, alles super und sehr sauber, die Matratzen sind für ital. Verhältnisse einzigartig. Einzigartig war - leider - nicht das Frühstück. Das könnte einwenig besser sein (sehr eintönig und nicht abwechslungsreich.) Ein kleiner weiterer Kritikpunkt ist das Fernsehen: bei einem 4-Sterne-Hotel kann man erwarten, das ist unsere Meinung, daß für die internationalen Gäste wenigstens einige ausländische Sender (englisch, deutsch, franz.) zur Verfügung stehen. Das ist leider im La Tonnara Hotel nicht der Fall.|| Aber was soll`s, wir geben trotzdem 5 Punkte, weil wenn wir wieder mal auf diese reizvolle kleine noch typisch ital. Insel unseren Urlaub verbringen, wieder in das La Tonnara kommen. Noch ein Tipp: nachdem die Insel sehr klein ist, 3.7qkm groß, ist es wirklich zu empfehlen, sich einen Roller anzumieten. Dies haben wir im Oktober 2015 auch getan. Das Hotel hilft Ihnen bei der Bestellung etc. eines Rollers, alles hat super geklappt und wir fuhren 3 Tage mit dem Roller rund um die Insel, ein Erlebnis.
