Marin Hotel — Hotel in Pula

My husband and l stayed in the Marin Hotel for 11 nights and it was a wonderful experience. From arrival to departure everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were initially welcomed by Martina who provided valuable information on the beaches and restaurants that we might want to visit. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage space (extra hangers were provided upon request). The bathroom was spacious, with an excellent shower (lovely after a day on the beach or cycling in the heat). The air conditioner worked very well and again was really pleasant in the summer heat. The room was cleaned, and new towels were provided, daily. Breakfast was lovely, with a generous selection of fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries and fruit juices. A staff member was always present to help with requests. Thanks to the lovely, patient Elisabetta, and to Franco for the best cappuccino and information on how to travel to Cagliari. Pula is a fantastic place to visit and the Marin Hotel is the perfect place to stay, so close to the town centre, and a short distance by locally hired bicycle (5 minutes) to the gorgeous Nora beach. We stayed for 5 nights in early July. All staff were completely charming and very helpful with tips for restaurants and beaches. No more than a five minute walk into the middle of town, which is transformed in the evening to a lively and busy spot. Decent choice of restaurants and a good, friendly atmosphere.||Going back to the hotel, everything was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Our room on the ground floor had plenty of space and doors provided access to the rear covered seating area. Excellent bathroom facilities. All towels changed daily. We stayed here for the last two nights of our cycling holiday.||The hotel was clean, quiet and a few minutes walk from the centre of Pula, so an ideal location.||Our room was comfortable with a small balcony.||The friendly receptionist recommended several restaurants and the two we ate at were excellent.||Pula itself was a lovely small town and we really enjoyed our stay there.
