Who has left positive feedbacks for this place with very mediocre food, poor ambiance, arrogant owner and high bills for what you get? The owner? The cook? Or maybe both together with their friends? Having read positive feedbacks we decided to have our last dinner in Sardinia in this restaurant. Well, the poor ambiance together with loud working conditioners and loud music still kept at as this place as we hoped for the nice meal as the feedbacks promised. And that was a pity, we should have better left immediately and not let us cheat with all the rest. For 25 euro you get a warm main course in Sardenia, here you get a small mediocre appetizer which seems to be bought in a local Supermarkt for much lower price and was served as appetizer. The portiones are very small. The portion of raviolis for 20 Euro was enough for our 4 years old kid, but not for an adult! When we told the owner (or hostess or who she is there) about that she got angry (to add to her arrogance) and offered to order more dishes. And? To spend 60-70 euro per person for mediocre food just not to stay hungry? She even didn’t try to really apologize and make up for that. Just got more arrogant and angry. We left the place in 30 min with a bad feeling of being cheated and hungry. And this is first time after 15 days of travelling throughout whole Sardenia and eating 2 times a day in good restaurants. When we were leaving this place I looked back and saw the cook was laughing at us. Tourists for them are just to be used. So rude, so unrespectful and impolite! If you do not want to feel cheated and spoil your evening or even the final impression about Sardenia - keep away from this place. Absolutely not recommended! And I hope this place will be closed soon and they do not cheat...
Read moreWe have visited restorant in July 2021 base on tripadvisor recommendation. First impression from start was not good. Waiters try to be ftiendly and advise menu. But, if time which they spend to you with explanation too long, they just leave you without any answer. Shef cooker, kept everything under his control, control what waiters are doing, how long waiters was speakinh with guests and what guests were ordering from his kitchen area. Room is quite small. Quite difficult to say that it is restorant. When shef cooker heard that we will order not so many dishes, me - only main dish, and kinder - tiramisu, it was quite negative emotion on his face with monologe with comments not nice manner about order and tiramisu. What is the problem?! We are guests. Shef cooker did measurement of guests from point of view how many dishes you will order, and if you will not meet his expectation, waiting for negative emotions :). Lucky we, that kitchen was just next to our table and i can see and understand everything even in Italian. And of course we leave that place immeditely after such attitude. We opted for both degustation sets, themed around earth and sea, and were thoroughly impressed by the exquisite balance of flavors crafted by Chef Manuele Senis (and his small team). Each dish showcased his creative approach, highlighting the best of local ingredients in a delightful interplay of textures and tastes.
The earth menu offered rich, hearty flavors, while the sea selection was fresh and vibrant, making for a remarkable culinary journey. Don't hesitate to accompain it with wine proposed by Melania.
