This resort is located in a beautiful area of Sesto in the dolomite’s. The resort is on a unesco world heritage site for its spring waters that run through that area. There are 3 buildings. The main hotel is new with modern rooms. The main lobby and restaurants are located in the main new hotel. The second building was the main hotel before the new on was built. It’s more cabin style with a new updated bathroom. It has a kitchen and is pretty big. It has a wrap around balcony with views of the mountains. The furniture is older but still nice and comfortable. The new hotel is connected to the older one through an underground passage. It connects the two hotels, spa, gym and pools so you never have to go outside. The pool is massive and heated. Has an automatic door where you can go to the heated pool outside while never getting out of the water. The last building is Accross the street and offers less expensive accommodations. All the spaces are very clean. The service is fantastic. Everyone is so nice and helpful. We chose the 3/4 board and were glad we did. It includes an excellent breakfast, light lunch and sit down dinner and buffet. Drinks are not included. |Claudia heads the restaurants and she is incredible. From the service to the bartenders all excellent. It’s about a 2.5 hour drive from Marco Polo airport. |We highly recommend this resort and will return. The Christmas decorations, menu, food and service were excellent. The new years dinner and party were so much fun. They really did a fantastic job. The gondola is located right behind the resort. There’s skiing, snowboarding and sledding available. We would love to spend our holidays there every year. It...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews even though we travel a lot and have visited 40 countries.|But for this one I really feel I have to.||Me and my wife stayed there for four nights.|Upon arrival we got help with our baggage by house keeper (Guliano) and that was only positive thing at arrival. He was really helpful.|We reserved junior suite romantic room and got a renovated suite with a view on gondola station which you can hear inside, worth 513€ with dinner??? (I will come to that) per night. |For me to spend romantic and active short holidays with my wife that was unacceptable so I asked for a room with a better view. We got a room in old part of hotel (same price) but with better view.|Room was spacious and ok. Nothing special and definitely not romantic.||And now a dinner, which is being advertised as a kind of surplus. |You are offered a choice of starter and main course from a menu of two or three options. You can take the dishes from the buffet before serving the dishes on the menu. There are quite a few dishes and extras, and they are quite tasty. When you finally decide and can hardly wait to see what you will get from the menu you have chosen, disappointment follows. |All the dishes on the menu that we ate all four days were below average and disappointing. The only bright spot in the service are the waiters Mirko, John and Ylenia. Thanks to them for their kindness.|A word about the spa. Even though it covers 2,500 square metres, it can be very busy and crowded.|In short. For the money, I would have liked a better room and, above all, better food. |I hope next time we will choose...
Read moreMy recent stay at Bad Moos can only be described as an extremely disappointing experience. Despite the hotel's claim of being a 4-star establishment, my time there was marred by numerous issues and lack of basic services. To begin with, upon arrival, there was no welcome representative to greet guests or assist with check-in procedures. This lack of hospitality set a negative tone for the entirety of my holiday. The problems continued with the overbooking of my room, which led to a stark contrast between the advertised images and the reality of the outdated and poorly maintained accommodations. The room was in desperate need of renovation, with worn-out furnishings and a lack of attention to detail.Furthermore, the state of the hotel's interior was appalling. Dirty and damaged carpets greeted guests upon entry, setting a dismal tone for the entire stay. The lift was a particularly concerning aspect, with dangerous hazards such as broken pieces of metal, posing a significant safety risk.As someone who values positive travel experiences, I cannot overstate the disappointment I felt during my time at Bad Moos. The complete lack of adherence to basic standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort is inexcusable for a purported 4-star hotel. In conclusion, my experience at Bad Moos was extremely disappointing. I strongly advise against choosing this establishment for your accommodations, as the numerous issues I encountered overshadow any...
