Restaurant Il Leone — Restaurant in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was unacceptably slow — it took over an hour just to receive our food, and even taking our order was delayed for an unreasonably long time. I specifically asked for a completely vegetarian meal and asked the waiter for guidance. Unfortunately, he was not helpful at all. Despite the reassurance, the dish I received turned out to contain meat. After all that waiting, I had to partially cancel the order. This level of service, especially when dealing with clear dietary restrictions, is unacceptable. I hope the management seriously considers this feedback and improves their service quality and staff knowledge regarding dietary needs. We were 3 times at Il Leone during our holiday in the Dolomites and enjoyed the food, the service, and the sphere at a great level. The blond waitress with the curly hair is a very friendly person, always smiling and greeting you. The food (my dorada was amazing) is really quite delicious and the prices are also good. Il Leone has a good location, and you could park your vehicle right against the restaurant on the other side of the street. The pizzas that my partner ordered were also very good. We both highly recommend this great restaurant, a place to be. If we would come again to the Dolomites, we would visit it again. Many thanks, and I hope to see you again....

Esperienza negativa. Arrivati per cena, chiediamo un tavolo per due senza aver prenotato e con un pò di difficoltà ci viene trovato. Parte 1 All'atto di ordinare la mia compagna, essendo intollerante ai latticini, chiede gentilmente alla cameriera se nella vellutata di patate sia presente la panna; la risposta della cameriera: "Cosa vuole? Al massimo troverà la patata e un pò di burro!" Dare una simile risposta a chi è effettivamente intollerante al lattosio, non ha nessuna giustificazione. Parte 2 Io ordino un bollito misto. In 50 anni ne ho provati tanti (specie nelle zone votate al cosiddetto "carrello dei lessi" Emilia e Veneto in primis), ma questo mi ha proprio deluso. La carne peraltro non era neanche male (forse un pò scarsa), ma era il contorno che proprio non andava: la salsa verde (pochissima) di "salsa verde" aveva ben poco e la verdura lessa che galleggiava nell'acqua di cottura... Boh, mai vista una presentazione simile. Parte 3 A metà cena arriva la cameriera e con tono inquisitorio chiede: " La tenda della porta-finestra l'avete spostata voi?!?". Allora premesso che non l'avevamo spostata, ma come ti permetti!?! Siamo clienti? O scolaretti indisciplinati in gita?
