The food was very good, which just about justifies the three stars. However, the service was bad for such a highly esteemed place. We waited 30 minutes before we could order. There was plenty of staff moving about but they were not "authorized" to take orders. We had to wait for the ONE staff member who could actually take orders (!?). The red wine was served super cold. And when wanting to order desert, we were again asked to kindly wait 20 minutes until the ONE staff member had time to take our new order. Not sure if it's a lack of trust in the whole staff or what, but the long waiting and the inexplicable ability to order via the many waitresses boggles the mind. Pessima esperienza, dopo anni di frequentazione di questo locale, siamo ritornati un paio di giorni fa. Premetto che in passato ci siamo trovati sempre da Dio ! Questa volta proprio non ci siamo, dopo aver prenotato il giorno precedente fissando alle 19:45 con raccomandazione di non fare tardi anzi di arrivare un po' prima ,se possibile, siamo arrivati al ristorante alle 19:30 , con modo seccato la signorina che ci ha "accolto" ci ha detto che siamo arrivati in anticipo. Fortunatamente abbiamo trovato al banco bar un ragazzo gentilissimo ( primo giorno che lavorava la, chiaramente non ancora contaminato dalla tensione e antipatia che regna in questo locale, non so quanto durerà lì) e abbiamo aspettato prendendo un aperitivo. Poi accomodati al tavolo,senza nessuna spiegazione ci sono stati buttati lì i menù. Il servizio è stato veloce, antipasto, primo e secondo tutto uno sopra l'altro come se volessero liberarsi presto di noi. Mentre per avere il dolce non ci è venuto più nessuno vicino, fino a mezz'ora dopo quando abbiamo richiesto la lista, di nuovo ci sono stati buttati lì i menù in modo scortese. Aspettata un'altra mezz'ora quasi senza nessuna cameriera che si avvicinasse a chiedere che dolce volevamo, abbiamo deciso di chiedere il conto e di andarcene ahimè senza dolce. Quello che abbiamo mangiato era di qualità mediocre, ho addirittura trovato la scorza d'uovo in un canederlo, fatto notare alla cameriera senza esito...niente a che vedere con il passato. Abbiamo tra l'altro capito che la signora Klara, precedente, gentilissima proprietaria non c'è più per meritato pensionamento. Insomma per noi questa era una tappa fissa quando eravamo in zona , d'ora in poi non ci andremo più e ne faremo sicuramente cattiva pubblicità tra i nostri amici.Un consiglio?...

It could have been so cozy. BUT the Service was drowning, stressed and absolutely chaotic. First and second course came together and both before the drinks, dessert order was ignored and coffee only came after two reminders, same as the bill… and serving in sweatpants aka jogger is not what you expect,,, typical behavior of a restaurant that lives on one time guests with tourist quoting for a table. No need to build a relation and to gain frequent guests …. A shame , missed opportunity… nope, we’ll join the big group of those who...
