My family, and a large group of friends, stayed at the hotel Ciasa Soleil, run by the Bernardi family, for one week during the end of February 2023.||We had a lovely time. The hotel rooms were spacious with sufficient closet space and the bathroom was of good size with lovely lighting. The hotel staff were attentive, very kind and helpful. The breakfast and dinner service was very good. The hotel's location was ideal. Close to shops, supermarket, pharmacy and less than a 5min walk to the gondola lift, the gateway to Sella Ronda and experiencing the infamous Gran Risa piste.||However, the hotel did have a few weaknesses, which I would like to highlight as follows:||1) Breakfast & Dinner||The breakfast buffet while of nice quality requires a bit more of a selection, especially for the kids. Fresh juices and pancakes would be a nice option to have.||The dinner for the first 2 days was tasteless, and the portions were miniscule. Very poor! However, from the third day onwards the taste suddenly reappeared and the portions became normal! Either the hotel's chef changed or they listened to our complaints, since a few of our friends opted to dine elsewhere.||2) Wellness/Spa||The hotel's Wellness was pleasant and offered a lovely pool and a adequate spa area. However, there were no massage facilities provided at the hotel, which is a considerable drawback, especially after a hardy day of skiing. You could only have a massage at a Wellness centre near the hotel, or have the hotel arrange with someone outside for a massage in your room, which is not ideal when you have a "busy" room. ||Conclusion:||Ciasa Soleil is a lovely boutique hotel situated in the center of La Vila. The hotels proximity to the ski slopes is a major advantage when wanting to hit the slopes at any time, and when wanting to relax after an exhausting day of skiing. While the hotel maintains a pool, 3 saunas, a steam room and an outside jacuzzi, space should definitely be made for a massage area.||Breakfast and dinner are extremely important and more attention should be made to choice, quality, taste and portions. Poor quality of food can be the sole reason for not visiting this hotel again.||I would certainly give the Ciasa Soleil one more try. I would also suggest to the Bernardi family to be more interactive with their customers in order to ascertain any faults and listen to...
Read moreThis is a beautiful family run hotel in a perfect location to explore some amazing Dolomite walks and views.||The hotel itself is extremely modern, clean and stylish (at least to our taste anyway). Everything is very tastefully done to a very high quality - we were shocked to hear the major rebuild was in 2015 - it looked like it was done last year as everything looked so new. Our panoramic room was beautiful and the upgrade was well worth the extra money to wake up to such an amazing view of the mountains.||The food is a very high quality with good variety and in early season there are not a lot of local bar/restaurant choices as many places do not open in early June, so the full board option was a good choice and well worth the money.||The hotel staff are amazing - so friendly and the owner, Werner, makes every effort to get to know everybody. He is also a great source of tips for excursions and walking routes. We would also recommend the guided walks with Manuela as well as the early morning sunrise trip, which is very special.||Finally the spa area is beautiful - modern, clean and very relaxing after a hard day on the trails. The hotel was not full during our stay (the season only starts at the beginning of June) so we often had the spa and sauna to ourselves which was a nice bonus.||The area is jaw droppingly beautiful and La Villa is a great central spot to explore the 3 valleys and mountain ranges that surround it. We had a car as that was the only viable way to get there from the airport, but buses run past the door, so a car is not essential to explore. We spend 9 days there and walked a different walk every day.||We would love to come back to this place and this hotel and would fully...
Read moreWe have stayed at Casa Soleil three times now and each visit has been absolutely amazing. From start to finish, everything about our stay was excellent. The rooms are clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax in the heart of the Dolomites.
The food was delicious every day. You can truly taste the care and quality in every meal. Whether breakfast or dinner, everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.
What makes Casa Soleil stand out even more is the incredible staff. They were superb and so kind. They accommodated every need we had and made sure we felt completely at home. Their attention and hospitality really made our experience special.
Another big highlight is the location. It is very close to the lift that takes you up to St Moritzino. At the top, there is an amazing playground that is perfect for children. Our kids had the best time there. The views are breathtaking and it is a wonderful place for families to enjoy the mountains together.
Casa Soleil has truly become one of our favorite places. It offers comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality. We have been here twice before and this was our third visit. We will definitely be coming again.
Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking for a beautiful and unforgettable stay...
