I'm sure the comments about the food are there for the public to see, but I must say that I have a very well-founded suspicion that they change the price of the receipts arbitrarily for non-Italian ! 342 euros became 598 euros in the paper receipts that were given to us!
What was even more unbelievable was that they ordered us: since they were busy today we had to pay the 600 euro bill now and then come the next morning to communicate with them!
The lady boss who claims to have never made a mistake in decades, oh please stop your calls to Maria! The appalling logic of your employees is what makes us ask for Maria's help!
And we were the only ones who didn't get a blessing and birthday dessert from the entire restaurant crowd of three tables celebrating birthdays. We didn't want to take advantage of the situation, but I really wondered what their exquisite desserts with candles accompanied by the Italian Happy Birthday song tasted like.
As we left, first we couldn't find our coats, and then after we expressed how bad we felt about the evening's dining experience, the waiter with the goatee left a message in English as we went up the stairs to leave, saying, "Thank u for your bad
" All of this happened after it became clear that we were Chinese, and it's hard to not suspect that there was some disgusting reason for this outrageous behavior. What a disgusting reason...
They didn't recognize their mistake and were snarky and ganged up on foreign tourists. This is not like the simple, kind and hospitable style of the Dolomite people that one remembers, and is infuriating and...
Read moreNothing to say except perfection. From the food to the staff to the atmosphere. Let’s start with the staff. They are super welcoming, warm, happy to be there, know what they are doing, and extremely polite and professional. They are very fun to talk to and always give amazing recommendations for food. Speaking about food this is probably one of the if not the finest Italian restaurant that I have ever eaten in. We went there two time and both times it was nothing short of perfect. The food is warm if it needs to be, flavourful, the meat is cooked on actual fire right in front of you, and you can tell that the people there put a lot of effort in making sure that the food is nothing but perfect. For recommendations I would recommend the deer carpaccio, beef tartar, and a Nebraska steak for two people. If you ask for two people for some reason it is just more delicious but also you can ask for a larger piece if you want to. But for me the top of the top in the menu was the bison. Soft, textured, and most importantly delicious. Definitely recommend. The atmosphere is perfect as there is a lot of natural ornaments and wood and colours and whatever else you can think of. This restaurant is one of the best that I have ever been in and it is definitely worth the long waiting time. Yes a reservation is absolutely mandatory as it is the busiest restaurant in town but there is a good reason for that. It felt like we ate food that should cost a million and...
Read moreThe food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic! Despite not having a reservation, we only waited briefly before being seated, and they offered us drinks during the wait.
The food exceeded our expectations. The meat was perfectly cooked with just the right fat-to-meat balance you'd hope for from a quality steakhouse. The grilled vegetables were delicious, and the polenta was excellent too!
While I didn't try any myself, they had an impressive wine selection. The non-wine alcoholic drinks menu was also well-rounded with good variety.
The service remained attentive throughout our meal, even when the restaurant was completely packed. The staff really made the experience special.
I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area craving excellent meat and a great...
