Hotel Reischach — Hotel in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

We spent a couple of nights in this hotel- in a double room. The hotel and the room are very clear, comfortable, well equipped. The rooms are spacious and cozy.||On our check-in day we were late because of traffic, so we called the hotel to inform them we would be late. We got the hotel, the woman who is the hotel owner showed us the room. We asked her if it’s possible to get something to eat for dinner as we paid a half pension but she answered no.|| ||Early in the morning we went skiing as it was the main purpose of our stay there and we came back to the hotel room in the afternoon. The room was cold because the heating was on a minimum during the whole day. We had a short break and went down to dinner at 8.30 p.m. We found a closed restaurant and an unfriendly lady who told us the dinner is over.||We were surprised because we very hungry as we spent the whole day skiing. We asked the hotel owner how it is possible the dinner has already been over? It was only 8.30 p.m. She answered the dinner is served only from 6.45. till 8.00 p.m. We asked her why nobody informed us about such an odd period of serving dinner. She just showed us a piece of paper exposed at the front desk where it is written when dinner is served. The lady was completely unfriendly, unprofessional, we asked her if we can get some rests of a dinner, anything to eat as we have already paid the half pension the day of our arrival. She said it is impossible. We had to go out to eat. The hotel is a real disappointment in comparison to a price we paid for, especially the hotel management and service. We paid the half pension without having the two dinners we paid for- without even getting an apology.||I have travelled a lot and I come from a tourism region, I have stayed in different types of hotel but I have never seen such unprofessional relation to a guest as well as the rule the dinner is served only from 6.45 till 8.00p.m. when the hotel is full of guests and it is high season.||It...

Easy to find and in a good location. It's not far to take a cable car up the mountain, and the hotel is near a bank, a newsagen'ts, a bakery and a pharmacy. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel, and near the garden at the back. The garden itself is very well cared for, as is the whole hotel. There were lots of places to sit and read/relax with sofas along the corridor, a large bar and lounge area on the ground floor as well as seating in the garden. I was also impressed that the wifi worked throughout the building and throughout the garden area. ||The multilingual staff were friendly and helpful, taking an interest in all the guests. For breakfast there was a good variety of sweet and savoury food available. Dinner was delicious (I especially enjoyed the soups and desserts) and the presentation of each dish was refined. ||Being on the main road it would probably be better to have a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden and pool, but the traffic didn't disturb me. Rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero ottimo. Sono stato in vacanza con due amici, tutti uomini, e abbiamo preso una stanza tripla comoda, pulita e abbastanza spaziosa. Il posto mi è piaciuto molto: è pulito, curato e accogliente. Markus è stato gentilissimo in tutto.

La cosa che mi è piaciuta di più delle camere è il balcone, che si affaccia sulle splendide montagne. La posizione però non è il massimo, perché intorno non c’è molto e la sera non ci sono tante cose da fare a piedi.

Il cibo è molto buono, soprattutto gli affettati della colazione, davvero speciali.

La spa, invece, non mi ha fatto impazzire. È pulita e ben tenuta, ma abbastanza piccola. Il problema è che secondo me non è gestita bene. All’ingresso c’è un cartello che dice che è un’area naturista. Noi abbiamo rispettato la cosa, anche se con un po’ di imbarazzo, ma non c’è nessun controllo. Così la gente fa un po’ come gli pare: ci siamo ritrovati a stare nudi in sauna, vasca fredda, ecc., e poi entravano persone in costume. Chiaramente la cosa è imbarazzante e non è corretta.

Dopo un paio di giorni abbiamo capito che le regole non venivano rispettate, così anche noi abbiamo cominciato a usare il costume, perché stare nudi quando gli altri sono coperti non è una bella figura, ti senti quasi in torto come se fossi un esibizionista.

La cosa più brutta è che, pur essendo vietata ai minori (giustamente), abbiamo visto un bambino di circa 10 anni con la madre che si sono messi nell’idromassaggio. Per fortuna era il giorno in cui avevamo già il costume, altrimenti non sarebbe stato bello.

Insomma, se si decide che la spa è un’area naturista, bisognerebbe controllare che venga rispettato, altrimenti ognuno fa come vuole. In più, il naturismo nasce anche perché nelle saune non si dovrebbero usare i costumi, visto che la plastica a quelle temperature rilascia sostanze tossiche. Sarebbe giusto rispettare questa cosa, ma se poi sei l’unico nudo non va bene, figurati con i bambini.

Basterebbe anche coprirsi con un asciugamano intorno alle parti intime senza imbarazzi, ma le persone non rispettano e dalla reception non fanno nulla per controllare e tutelare chi rispetta le regole.

Per non parlare delle comitive che si buttano in 6 o più nella vasca idromassaggio, quando in più di 4 non ci si sta proprio.

Insomma, è l’unico difetto di un albergo che, per rapporto qualità/prezzo, è davvero ottimo. Complimenti a loro per come gestiscono la struttura, tranne questa piccola nota sulla spa che volevo segnalare.
