We have been visiting Riccione for the past 6 years and have stayed at Picnic each time. It is a wonderful location close to the railway station - 5 minutes walk to the fantastic beach - 5 minutes walk to the town and with lots of beautiful restaurants and bars to relax in. Accommodation is very very clean and very comfortable - quiet location in the back streets you are guaranteed a really peaceful sleep. Breakfast is really good and Enrico (the owner) makes a really fantastic coffee !! I think this hotel has been a hidden jewel and once you visit you will return. Don't expect 5 star accommodation but do expect comfortable surroundings - friendly staff - free bikes - and a very relaxing...
Read moreOn arrival we were welcomed by Enrico and his wife, the perfect hosts.We agreed an early breakfast for three as we wished to find a good spot at the Misano racetrack for the San Marino Moto GP. Enrico advised us to cycle in, 6km, and he lent us three cycles, not the latest models but perfect for us. Brilliant. The large room with a small balcony shared by myself and two adult sons was immaculate, three single beds, shower & toilet. Read moreIn quiet and green area, not far from public (free of charge) beach and shopping streets - approx. 7 min. walk. Very nice and authentic villa with excellent service and plenty of privacy. Nutritious breakfast (croissant, yogurt, cheese-ham, jam, juice and variation of delicious coffees), free bicycle-rent, mini built-in-savebox in the room, friendly and helpful personnel (hotel owner and his family). There are no elevators and air conditioner, but that is hardly any problem. As we felt very safe, we kept windows opened all the time. We felt like home and received personal service....
