We did a spontaneous 3-day-trip to the Adria early September. Having two small kids, we just wanted a simple hotel that pretty much included everything. I was sceptical considering the low prices but decided to try the Hotel Massimo.||||I didn't regret it. The hotel is located in a small street only a very short walk away from the beaches of Riccione. IMO perfect.||The room was basic, but spacious and clean, with a big terrace/balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff. I'm always worried to disturb other guests having to deal with two (maybe cranky) children. Wasn't the case here, we felt very welcome and all our needs were attended to.||||The food wasn't exceptional, but better than expected. In case you stay for a long time it will get quite repetitive.||Only disappointement was the breakfast. Very basic.||||Other guests were mostly older couples that enjoyed having children around. I meant to write this review ages ago, but here it is. This Hotel has one of the best customer service I have ever encountered. Luigi, Daniel and Christian were all amazing and went out of their way to help us out. My friends and I booked a room for three people, and we got a queen size bed and I believe a twin size bed in the room. The room was simple, but we really didn't spend a significant amount of time in the room, other than sleeping and getting ready to go out. Each staff member went out of their way to help us navigate around town, told us different spots to go dancing, told us about different transportation etc. Any request that we made, the response was always "No Problem" I would def recommend this place to any foreigner who needs a friendly face to help them...

Ho soggiornato 1 settimana in una singola, CHE SCONSIGLIO CALDAMENTE. Avevo chiesto anticipatamente foto del bagno, specificando che avevo avuto esperienze negative, ma non le ho ricevute perché la stanza era occupata.. Mi sono fidata, purtroppo, e ho prenotato ugualmente. Arrivata, accoglienza inesistente, (poi ho capito perché) sono salita in camera, un loculo con un piccolissimo bagno senza bidet, con scarico doccia ai piedi del vater. Ho manifestato subito la mia insoddisfazione dicendo che se avessi saputo che era così non avrei prenotato. Mi hanno risposto che la gente durante il giorno sta in spiaggia e che essendo 2 stelle poteva anche non esserci il bidet. Ho detto che volevo andarmene e mi hanno chiesto di pagare ugualmente l'intero soggiorno, poi ridotto a 3 notti. Terrazzo per stendere i teli con esalazioni puzzolenti della cucina del ristorante a fianco, campana del vetro con lancio bottiglie alle 6 del mattino. Per non parlare del cibo.. mi astengo. Ho scritto una mail alla quale, dopo 12 ore, non avevano appositamente risposto. Credevo che il dialogo fosse la cosa migliore, ma mi sbagliavo. OVVIAMENTE PER AVER ESPRESSO LA MIA OPINIONE MI GUARDAVANO TUTTI MALISSIMO.

Spero di essere utile a qualche ingenuo e fiducioso turista. Per me è stata un'esperienza SPIACEVOLE. Fortunatamente ho raggiunto amici che mi hanno aiutato a superare questo...
