Hotel Residence T2 — Hotel in Rimini

We have stayed there four years in a row and will be again next summer as the hotel is very quiet, well-located just 30 meters off the beach and is affordable for a four star hotel. As a person who inspects hotels for a living and travels a lot, I can say this could be one of the best summer hotels with just minor improvements.||||We tried different rooms - some with better view, some with kitchen corner and all are well decorated and spacious. If you prefer the view, you need to stay on the sixth floor as the hotel is located right behind another tall one, but nonetheless, the sea is visible from everywhere. Bare in mind, there are no kitchen corners on the sixth floor. ||||There is no hotel restaurant, so bare that in mind as well. Breakfast can get really boring as it is the same every day, but there is good enough number of options with croissants, eggs, ham, salami, milk, yoghurt, fruit, etc. I would love if they start offering some different types of ham and even prosciutto crudo but no one is perfect. Same goes for the cheese.||||Room service, especially cleaning can be erratic from time to time, but it can be arranged beforehand. The hotel is smoothly run altogether by several very nice girls who can offer good advice on the best places to eat in the area.||||Bicycles available free of charge. Parking is not free as far as I know. They can offer beach access too at one of the less congested beaches up front. Do not hesitate to ask about anything.||||Close to Miramare railway station so no need to get to Rimini every time you want to travel...

We had booked an economy room at another hotel and were informed that our room was in the T2 Hotel Residence. We got to our room and noticed that it had not been cleaned (stains, food in the sink, sticking to the floor) and that we could not lock the balcony door. We changed to a "cleaner" room but same problem, we could not lock the balcony door. (The room was on the first floor so this was a problem). Finally, we got a "working" room; although some pieces of furniture were falling apart, the shower was broken and flooded the bathroom each time and there was a lot of dust! The air conditioning was extremely loud but no where near the hoise level of the other guests: lots of young students who stayed up partying all night and who ran up and down the halls screaming. ||||The hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel, despite its claims. I've stayed in 2 star hotels that are better! Since we booked at another hotel (and paid their prices) I cannot comment on value for money here! Needless to say, we quickly changed hotels. ||||There are two positive points: each room had a kitchenette so we had access to a large fridge and freezer and it's close...

we´ve been a group of friends. We were in several rooms ando all of them were clean and confortable.||It´s a apartment with all the facilities as microwave and fridge. For four people, rooms are a little bit small.||sataff were gentle and nice, they always give you advices and help.||wifi, although it´s free, doesn´t work properly, so don´t desperate for this. you should go to another place, if you want good internet conection.||the hotel is close to he beach, just crossing the street, and in june, it was quiet during nights, although it´s located in the main street of Rimini. It´s quite far from the centre, so you should take a taxi or rent a car if you want to go to good...
