The worst service. During my 2 weeks stay I have visited many of Rimini’s restaurants, but this one was an awful experience. The restaurant is located on a main street so it doesn’t matter if you are seating inside or out you will hear the loud noises of cars, Chinese merchandise sellers, dust coming over your dish etc. It was about 10.30 at night and there was a baby that didn’t stopped screaming during the half an hour we were there. There are Menus in Russian and English, but no use of them because only the manager speaks a little bit of English (as the 90% of other places in Rimini). I ordered fried seafood with vegetables, and lemon tea. The waiter was trying to persuade me to order a bottle of water, which I refused. Based on that he made a rude and unfunny joke that water is bad for me and I should not drink too much of it. He has mistaken the order and brought me black tea, I objected so he said he would bring the correct one. He brought mint tea after 20 minutes when I openly objected, in a glass with no spoon. I went alone to take a spoon from the Bar. The fried seafood then was brought by a third waiter, so I guess management of staff is so bad a visitor just doesn’t know to whom to refer. In the dish there were 4 fried potatoes that I think got stacked in the frier from the order from the previous costumer. So I guess my seafood was fried in the same oil as the others. As for the taste: it was tasteless. There were only sea bass, carrots and zucchini in the plate. Very disappointing. The price was 14€ per dish which is more expensive than the majority of Rimini’s restaurants. I went to explain my experience to the manager and he said i don’t need to come to his restaurant if I don’t like it, and to search for a better one. I have already found a much better and professional restaurant a few days earlier, but I have decided to give Osteria a chance, now I regret that decision. Tasteless and low quality food, rude and unprofessional staff, awful location. Don’t go there if you...
Read moreIf there was an option for zero stars, this place would get it! I was extremely disappointed with my meal as well as the service of this restaurant. I saw and ordered something from the menu that sounded very unique: Ravioli with a spinach and ricotta filling, served with cherry tomatoes, ham in a cream sauce and drizzled with mozzarella, figs and honey, and topped with rocket (rucola) However...when my meal came it was a totally different story. I got a smattering of ravioli in some overly salted butter sauce with really bitter purple cabbage sprinkled on the top. No mozzarella, figs, honey or rocket anywhere near my plate. When I asked the waiter politely if the rest of the ingredients were still coming, I was told no, and that it was a mistake on the menu. She rudely turned away and left me with my new findings. I would have thought that by now, a mistake such as this would be rectified during a busy tourist season....or...that the waitress could have warned me about the mistake when I gave her my order. In any case, she totally dismissed us and I was left to eat a meal I absolutely hated...overly salty and made with no love. When it was time to pay, we asked our waiter for the bill. 30 minutes later...after being patient, we asked another waiter if we could pay, or, to please remind his colleague that we asked for the bill...only to be told that we needed to pay at the cash register. This could have been communicated to us from the start as well... I would not recommend this place to anyone. Cold service, horrible food and bring time along with you as the service staff doesn't seem to care about the...
