After spending a week wit a children's camp, teaching English, I am appalled at the behaviour of your staff's attitude towards residences, particularly that of the children.||||Having not been provided a bin in the room itself and the bathroom bin being small, it was difficult to fit all our rubbish in the places provided. Instead we took it upon ourselves to place the rubbish in a pile. It wasn't until we, ourselves, put the rubbish into the cleaners rubbish bags whilst they attended to another room as they refused to collect it. ||||Towels were also another issue. After previously speaking to the cleaners about changing our towels, due to them being dirty, this "agreement" wasn't continued. Repeatedly we had to ask for our towels to be changed, only to have them changed on our penultimate day, very unhelpfully. The towels, that we asked to have changed, would only be collected if in a pile, or so we were told. The towels remained in the pile we put them in for almost 3 days. It wasn't until the third conversation with your staff members that they were removed. ||||Whilst partaking in one of the sessions with a group of children, one of your members of staff, rather rudely, interrupted a conversation I was having with a younger child. Not only did she demand attention but she also told the child to "shut up". Upon enquiring as to the " important issue" that was at hand it appeared as though some of your team members had discovered that the chairs positioned as an audience for the theatre were in the wrong order, as in orange and yellow rows. Having personally placed all the chairs in the correct order myself after the children replaced them I was confused by the statement. Your team were adamant that I personally had moved the chairs to spite them and their performance, which is very unprofessional, particularly as this conversation was reluctantly (on my part) held in front of the children. ||||On 5th July till around 3.30 am your team were playing loud music, disrupting the children whilst they were sleeping. At first it was assumed that dance reversals were being carried out, it later become clear that the staff were just sat "discussing", whilst this music played. ||||Upon leaving the resort (on 5th July) we removed our equipment from the staff room. Entering the room it became evident that the fridge had begun to leak, causing there to be water all over the floor. Not one but two of the children slipped as well as two of the tutors. Having spoken to some of the staff after this incident occurred, their only response was to not only laugh but make sarcastic comments. This act is very dangerous and within some eyes of the law can be reprimanded, due to their negligence of a dangerous situation. ||||This shall be the first and last time I stay at your...
Read moreThis camping offers also hotel and wooden chalets with a small kitchen for those that want to live a camping lifestyle without actually camping. We stayed in a 6-bed chalet. It was clean and comfortable. The beach is nice and close to the residential area. The swimming pool is clean but somewhat crowded (amazingly, most people seem to prefer staying at the pool while the see is 100m away). ||||Some suggestions for improvement:||||1. the pool is open from 10am to 7pm. Sometimes it would be nice to have a dip early in the morning or late at night. It feels like a waste that the hours are so strict. It also closes the WHOLE DAY on wednesdays (supposedly for cleaning and testing). It is indeed quite clean, but I have never heard of such practice on ANY swimming pool I've visited. How about cleaning it after 10pm? ||||2. Animation feels cheap. The hired crew does it best, but it shouldn't be forced to do what it can't. The "cabaret" wasn't funny, and lip-synchd musicals felt really cheesy. My small child didn't buy it. ||||3. 45 minutes for checkout and cash-only security deposit feels like a thing of the past. 10am checkout too. Really, don't be surprised tourists will be flocking to Spain or Croatia if you don't modernize these processes.||||4. The restaurant menu doesn't have too many options and they are the same every day. I felt sorry for those staying in the residence not having anywhere to cook. ||||5. Only one key is given per room or chalet (which may have as many as 6 beds). Seriously? I actually saw one guest complaing about it, trying to explain the ordeal he and his wife have when one goes shopping and the other is at the beach trying to find each other to access the room. The administrator looked at him condescendingly, trying to wonder why two people would ever need two keys. Tridente admins:...
Read moreLet me start by saying that this was our first camping vacation in years and I was a bit sceptical.
However, the camping site turned to be incredible and 2 weeks passed by very quickly.
Staff: super friendly and helpful. We had to rebook our pitch a couple of times and every time we dealt with reception was very pleasant.
Pitch: I'd say 90% of the pitches have good size and great amount of Shadow, if you are unlucky to get one from the rest 10%, the staff is always there to offer you an alternative
Swimming pool: it might get busy, but in general very clean and enjoyable
Beach: very clean with a fantastic no smoking policy. The sea is great, not too deep, allowing the kids enough space to play in the water
Service facilities: showers, toilets, dishwashing rooms are super clean. Everything works properly. I never had to wait to go to the shower. You always have enough water (also quite hot if you want).
Restaurant: fantastic. It could be quite average, because they would still get all the customers for dinner, but the chef prefer to have high standards. It might be quite busy in the evening, but the service is still fast and friendly and the food is fantastic. Easily the best Carbonara I ordered in Adria.
Two major disadvantages: Moskitos Very loud in the evening until 23.30. The sound from the theater was really annoying, especially if your kids are supposed to be...
