Residence Il Melograno — Hotel in Santu Diadòru/San Teodoro

We stayed here as part of an organized event and the accommodation had been found by the organizers. I was surprised at the choice as it was at least 15 or 20 minutes walk each way, 4 times a day, from our venues, and it seemed a long walk from the town centre when we finally found it. The owner was very sweet but this was not what I had expected and I feel that the accommodation was quite basic and the shower was the smallest one I have ever been in. The “garden” at the back was unmade although at the front we had a table and chairs and a BBQ which was a nice touch. Mosquitoes were quite troublesome so I rarely sat outside though. I was also surprised not to have any sort of maid service during the course of the week. Maybe a lack of sufficient information from our organizers? Anyway I would definitely recommend car hire for this accommodation as taxis are very hard to find and I would say it’s unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Our stay at Residence Il Melograno was splendid! We loved every bit of our vacation. The nearest beach (Spiaggia La Cinta) is just 10 minutes on foot and it’s probably one of the beast beaches you’ll see. You can reach the town center of San Teodoro on foot, as well. The apartment was very clean and tidy, I appreciated that we had a small garden at the back for laundry and a nice veranda, where you can have breakfast and dinner. Also, it was really quiet! The owner, Alessandra, is very nice, friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Il Melograno for your holidays in San Teodoro! We would have loved to stay even more to enjoy SUNANDBASS!

Central to all of Olbia area, five minutes from beach. Ten minutes to downtown San Teodoro. Host was very gracious, competent and easy to deal with. The residence, was very clean and in good working order. BBQ in back, easy to use. Was very tranquil and restful. Only reason, I give a four ratings, is because some of the furniture was run down and not functional. But overall, great value, pricing, hosting and amenities. I would return.
