Die Zimmer sind sauber, was sehr positiv ist. Leider war unser Zimmer für vier Personen sehr klein, ein Doppelbett direkt an einem Hochbett, mit kaum Bewegungsfreiheit. Gerade mit Kindern ist das nicht ideal, und für den Preis hätten wir uns etwas mehr Komfort gewünscht. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung und ausreichend, hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche Reinigungspersonal – ein großes Lob dafür! Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich ausgezeichnet: In einer Minute erreicht man den kostenpflichtigen Strand, und der freie Strand ist in etwa 5–10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Was wir jedoch als schwierig empfanden, war der Umgang mancher Hotelmitarbeiter mit nicht-italienischen Gästen. Während italienische Gäste sehr freundlich behandelt wurden, hatten wir trotz höflichen Auftretens und Respekts für Land und Kultur, das Gefühl, nicht wirklich willkommen zu sein. Auch die Verständigung auf Englisch gestaltete sich schwierig, was in einem touristischen Umfeld problematisch sein kann. Uns ist bewusst, dass Tourismus ein sensibles Thema ist besonders in den letzten Jahren. Wir verstehen, dass es auch Konflikte gibt, weil sich viele Touristen nicht respektvoll verhalten und die Lebensqualität der Einheimischen beeinträchtigen. Gerade deshalb möchten wir betonen: Wir kommen fast jedes Jahr nach Lido di Camaiore, weil wir diesen Ort lieben gelernt haben. Als wir vor einigen Jahren das erste Mal hier waren, haben wir uns sofort willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Dieses Jahr hat sich jedoch vieles verändert, vor allem die Atmosphäre im Umgang mit Gästen. Es wirkt, als wäre der Tourismus deutlich zurückgegangen, vielleicht auch aufgrund dieser Entwicklungen. Wir sind nicht hier, um Müll zu hinterlassen oder das Leben der Menschen vor Ort zu erschweren. Im Gegenteil: Wir reisen mit Respekt und gehen so, wie wir gekommen sind.

Le camere sono pulite, e questo è sicuramente un aspetto positivo. Purtroppo, la nostra stanza era molto piccola per quattro persone un letto matrimoniale accanto a un letto a castello, con pochissimo spazio per muoversi. Soprattutto con bambini, non è l’ideale, e per il prezzo ci aspettavamo qualcosa di più comodo. La colazione era buona e sufficiente. Un grande complimento va al personale delle pulizie, sempre gentile e disponibile! La posizione dell’hotel è davvero eccellente: in un minuto si arriva alla spiaggia a pagamento, mentre la spiaggia libera si raggiunge in circa 5–10 minuti a piedi. Tuttavia, abbiamo trovato difficile il comportamento di alcuni membri dello staff nei confronti degli ospiti non italiani. Mentre i clienti italiani venivano accolti con cordialità, noi nonostante il nostro atteggiamento rispettoso e l’amore per il paese – abbiamo avuto la sensazione di non essere del tutto benvenuti. Anche la comunicazione in inglese era complicata, e nel settore turistico questo può creare problemi. Sappiamo che il turismo è un tema delicato, soprattutto negli ultimi anni. Comprendiamo che ci siano tensioni, anche a causa del comportamento irrispettoso di alcuni turisti, che spesso non valorizzano i luoghi che visitano e rendono più difficile la vita quotidiana per i residenti. Proprio per questo, ci teniamo a dire che torniamo quasi ogni anno a Lido di Camaiore, perché ci siamo innamorati di questo posto. Fin dalla prima visita di qualche anno fa, ci siamo sentiti accolti e a nostro agio. Ma quest’anno qualcosa è cambiato soprattutto nell’atmosfera generale e nel modo di accogliere i turisti. Il turismo sembra essere diminuito, forse anche per queste ragioni. Noi non siamo qui per lasciare sporcizia o creare disagi: siamo qui perché troviamo questo luogo meraviglioso. E partiamo con lo stesso rispetto con cui...

Nice staff at the hotel. Very friendly and made every effort to help us with our very limited English. I'd read a previous review of how noisy it is if your room is located on the first floor. I wish I'd heeded their advice.... our first nights sleep was disturbed throughout due to a noisy reception area located next door. Ask for a room on the second or third floor. They did however move us after 1 night made a big difference. Toiletries and mini bar were not replenished often if at all. They did offer complementary bicycles which we both enjoyed! ||Lack of balconies, view and pool tend to mean you will spend time at the beach. Word of warning, this can be expensive as in the low season, we were charged between €15 and €30 per day at any private beach (which consume the whole beach) ||Other hotels in the area did offer use of their private beach and if I returned, I would certainly look to book a hotel with this...

i ve been more than 30countries , hundreds of cities and hotels as well. And this is the worst hotel i ve ever stayed so far. We had train at 8am and because of that we were at lobby to check out at 7am . Even if we informed them about this previous day There were no staff around and in reception as well. We found a lady who was setting table for breakfast and we asked about breakfast she said NO breakfast before 8am then we requested her call a taxi .. she said NO again… and she wrote phone number of taxi on a piece of paper and passed it to us and she wanted us to call them! We needed to leave to catch train and we walked 40minutes under sun 30degree of weather to train station it was like nightmare . On the other hand, hotel even if close to beach they are in the middle of no where … one of the last hotel in coast ….Think twice when you...
