Hotel Oceano — Hotel in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

The hotel Oceano is situated on the Versilia sometimes know as the Tuscan Riviera.||The hotel location has essential components of a holiday at a beach resort of the Versilla.||Marina Pietrasanta, and Camaiore Lido are coastal resorts next to each other with road networks leading inland to the towns of both these resorts. The hotel has good connections with transport if you don't have a car, and hotel parking If you have your own transport. Flying into Pisa we caught the airport bus service to the busy Pisa railway station, this was a short journey and then a 25 minute train journey to Pietrasanta, once there alight from the station and head for the bus depot outside the station, ask for Marina Pietrasanta and off you go.||On arrival at the hotel we had a good welcome from the owner Simone, who came to England when younger and attended a language school in Eastbourne she speaks very good English, and German she also has a very good sense of humour which we enjoyed.||The Hotel is owned and run by her family husband & wife and two daughters, we found them very friendly, helpful and willing to do anything to make your stay even better. The hotel is 100yards from the beautiful beaches which are divided into numerous bathing establishment's with one having a connection with the hotel.||Surrounding buildings are hotels and villas all nicely located in pleasant grounds, breakfast on the hotel terrace was pleasant and the breakfast one of the best we have had abroad, in all ideal to travel further a field Lucca, Pisa, and Florence. There are restaurant's near by or 15 minute's away which are all very good.||The rooms are clean and tidy, lifts are always working, and If you can ride a bike these are available for hire and will get you every where local. Camaiore Lido has evening markets on the nice prom but Pietrasanta is a treat for dinner one evening with its old town setting.||We all worry sometimes If we have pick the right hotel, but be assured this one wont...

From the moment my cousin and I stepped into Hotel Oceano, we felt like part of the family. This charming, family-run establishment exceeded our expectations in every way.

We were greeted warmly, and one wonderful lady—unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name, but she’s in the middle of us in our photo—stood out for her exceptional hospitality. She not only made us feel incredibly welcome but also shared a treasure trove of local recommendations. Thanks to her, we enjoyed some of the best experiences in the area.

The hotel itself is a gem. The rooms are comfortable and clean, offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. Breakfast each morning was lovely with a variety of delicious options to start our day off right.

The location of Hotel Oceano is good, however I would recommend to have a car to access other locations. It’s conveniently situated, making it easy to access all the attractions and hidden gems the area has to offer. While the surrounding area boasts plenty of beach clubs for daytime relaxation, it’s not a hotspot for nightlife. That said, this suited us perfectly and didn’t detract from our experience at all.
