RESIDENCE MESTRE BACO — Hotel in Venice

This is an excellent place to stay. Great apartment with air conditioning on the ground floor really appealed to us. Most things are provided but more attention to detail would have earned 5 stars. For instance, provide a tea towel, preparation knife and what about a plug?|Clearly these small concerns never bothered us too much. There is an easy walk to the railway station with quick access into Venice. However, ensure you check the timetable. On Sunday we had a walking tour booked for 10:30. Left the apartment at 8:45 but alas no train until 10:27. Could not believe it! Tried for a taxi with no luck so just missed the tour. Didn't really matter as we enjoyed our day in Venice.|Back to the property. Good on site parking adds to the convenience and friendly staff as well. This place is absolutely gorgeous! Everything was very clean and newly built. A special highlight was the shower with its super high wood ceiling! |The apartment was very well equipped and didn't lack anything we needed. We took the train to Venice which went very fast. |The only thing we were not really happy about was that the pictures all show the bigger apartment under the rooftop. When we arrived, we only got a one-bedroom apartment with another extra bed sitting in the kitchen. It was okay for the short period we stayed there, but as a recommendation for everyone who wants to book this place: make sure to text the owners first to make sure that you actually get the two bedroom apartment! We spent 2 nights at Residence Baco da Seta. We enjoy our stay.The residence is surrounded by a beautiful farm with corn. Our apartment was on the 1st floor renovated with attention to details. The location is excellent, so for those who want to relax and visit Venice, one klm away after the Mestre Hospital located the train station where you can get the train to Venice and back again.
