B&B SOFIA — Hotel in Verona

The accommodation is well located in the old town. Unfortunately the furnishings were tired, the building was damp, and the air conditioning broken (which was known, but not mentioned to us). The pictures represent the accommodation as having its own kitchen area. The kitchen however is shared and bathrooms are outside the bedroom. It was not clear what bathroom we were suppose to be using as the colour scheme system to match bathroom to bedroom was not explained. Host Emma is welcoming and ensures her recommendations for the beautiful town are tailored to your wants. First night she sent us to the most delicious restaurant meal I’ve had in Italy!

Set in an historic building right in the centre near the old bridge and Juliet’s balcony, you feel privileged to stay in such a place. Breakfast was sublime.

This was a wonderful B&B with wonderful hosts. We felt right at home and this was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in in my experience with staying in b&b’s around Italy. Everything was so clean, the rooms were very cute, and our host was prepared with restaurant recommendations and info about the city.
