Whimsical,Magical,Enchanting…! Are a few of the words that describes this little paradise once you cross the gates and done the road to the rabbits hole you are transported to a different place and time not of this world! You are close to everything but AWAY from it all!!! Where do we begin? From arrival the front office team is warm and receptive, the rooms are in their own magical little villages each with its own private pool and entrances, well maintained and CLEAN! it truly feels like home. The property is quiet and feels very calming and the staff non intrusive, on the property there are 2 beach areas with the main beach being a private oasis that has powder white sand ample space and chairs for all. Above which is a charming little bar where you can hang or you get served while lounging on the beach. This property’s swimming POOLS is the most amazing thing I’ve seen! This is a 3 levels layered flowing downhill towards the sea one into the other all surrounding by a lush landscape you have to see this the believe it! Now on to food from room to. Beach side service to dining in the multiple awards winning restaurant Christopher’s which in itself is any experience with a tall “tower” it’s another mythical journey the food and service are first world and great! I observed on many occasions Klent the Manager walking around and making sure that things were good and was always accessible! Which makes it feel like you are appreciated. I would love to take a peek into the minds of the developers/Curators of the artistic wonder to understand how things evolved and came together as an art lover I was constantly finding little treasures in my cottage and around the property that piqued my interest! Overall this property is a bucket list gem and one will never regret spending time here, looking forward to being transported back into this magical place...

My husband and I spent seven nights in the Calabash House at Hermosa Cove. I can't say enough about the wonderful staff who were super helpful and happy to assist in any way. Shaneil, in Guest Services, was fantastic. Our driver, Rashan, was so nice (and hilarious!) and very accommodating. The Calabash House villa has a nice view from its second story wrap-around porch. We spent most evenings with a cocktail, gazing out at the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The villa was very clean and comfortable and daily maid service is included. ||The resorts grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained. There are multiple paths in and around the resort, all lush with tropical plantings and many spots to sit by the beach and take in the views. The three-tiered pool with running waterfall is amazing, also with great views of the ocean. We were thrilled to see hummingbirds and parrots every day. ||A few suggestions for your stay at Hermosa Cove:||- Take advantage of the hotel's offer to pre-stock your villa! There are no grocery stores within walking distance of the resort and to hire a driver runs $40 per trip. They'll stock beer, wine, alcohol, juices, lunch meats, bread, snacks, etc., pretty much anything you'd get in a U.S. grocery store. ||- Bring cash in small denominations for tips! While tipping is not required at the hotel, the service often warrants it. We were able to find an ATM while out with a driver (whom we tipped each trip) but it wasn't easy. Tipping is more expected if you use a guide at Dunns River Falls (definitely go!) or other attractions. You can tip or buy anything with U.S. dollars in Jamaica. (Note that you do not need cash to tip at the resort's restaurants.)||- Bring plenty of sunscreen! The HC resort doesn't have a sundries shop and the local grocery store (while quite nice) had only one bottle of...

My wife and I spent just under a week at Hermosa Cove to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and I can honestly say it was exactly what we were looking for—romantic, quiet, and truly special.||From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of calm. The villas are all uniquely designed and tucked into lush tropical gardens on a stunning 12-acre property in Ocho Rios. We stayed in the Tree House Villa, which was absolutely gorgeous. The outdoor bath nestled in the trees added a dreamy, magical touch.||The resort has just 9 villas—many with private dipping pools—so the whole place feels incredibly private and peaceful. Even the three shared pools were almost always empty, which made it feel like we had the entire resort to ourselves.||The on-site restaurant, Christopher's, is hands down the best we experienced in Ocho Rios. One evening, when the restaurant was particularly busy, the staff offered us the private gazebo overlooking the sunset for dinner—it was unforgettable. Little touches like that made the experience feel even more personal and romantic.||You can snorkel, kayak, or just relax in one of the many beautiful nooks around the property. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, but also gave us complete privacy when we wanted it. It’s clear they really care about making your stay peaceful and memorable.||Hermosa Cove is a rare gem, and we’re already dreaming of coming back.||Special thanks to Klent, Shaneil , Anieka, Deb, Chef and all the HC team for making our stay such a...

Exactly as pictured. The most beautiful and well maintained resort. We felt as though we were the only people there. We went in April, the crystal clear water was warm and not a single bug bite to speak of. We went snorkeling right from the resort and the reef is very much alive and vast. This is not the place to go if you need entertainment and nightlife but for this trip we just wanted to sit on a beach, and we did. The only con is the food situation. I was looking for a place with a kitchen traveling with young ones and the house did. The resort offer to shop and fill the fridge so we opted for that. It did not go well. For our 5 day trip, they provided a pack of turkey and ham for sandwiches but forgot bread. Mac and cheese boxes but no milk or butter per the instructions on the box. and 1, single serving, frozen pizza. They have ONE restaurant ( the other was closed the whole time) and the menu remained the same every breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service was the slowest. The continental breakfast took a hour to be served, dinner even longer. It became so difficult to enjoy with the kids that we started tag teaming who had to wait at the table. We finally got to the grocery store ourselves and it wasn't as bare as I expected , wish we went earlier. So long story short, plan a trip to the grocery store. But all else said still 5 stars in my mind because it really is the most beautiful, serene getaway. Like no filter needed ever, make all your followers jealous , perfect.

Our stay at Hermosa was unforgettable. The boutique resort is serene and stunning, with lush grounds and coral-inspired architecture. Daily snorkeling on the reef was a dream, and the food and staff were exceptional. The lobster at the restaurant was incredibly fresh—hands down the best lobster I’ve ever had. The CK margaritas were the top drink choice for us! The restaurant also had a good selection of wines to choose from. We stayed at the Nautilus Villa, a three-story villa that offered unparalleled privacy. We honestly didn’t want to leave, as it had everything we needed. You can even walk directly into the warm waters to snorkel, which quickly became our favorite daily activity. During the day, we opened the windows to hear the waves and enjoy the most incredible view of the water. We even went into town one of the days to go shopping. We felt safe and had a great time! The resort has so many unique qualities—not just in its decor but also in its stunning walking paths. The old coral reef incorporated into the design was absolutely fascinating. It’s a peaceful haven for anyone seeking relaxation, beauty and privacy!

My wife Bridget and I just stayed 4 nights at Hermosa Cove Villas of our 8 night stay in Jamaica. This is a beautiful, lush, well kept resort owned by folks that obviously love the land, the island and the people that work for them. It shows in every aspect of the 9 villa resort which is expanding. Take my word for it and come stay in paradise and prepare to be treated like you are a special guest in the home of some of the finest folks you could ever want to meet. Not only are the grounds breathtaking and villas comfortable and well-appointed, the restaurant serves up some of the best Jamaican cuisine we had on our entire trip. A special thanks to Duke, Wendy, Ryan, Cymroy, Vanesha, Chef Conroy, Romain, all of the grounds keepers and Jermaine for the jelly coconuts....and our wonderful taxi drivers and tour guides Rashuan and Dexter. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Korver, as a business owner myself I am fully aware that our employees are the face of our businesses. Rest well my friends, knowing the best kept secret in Jamaica is in good hands and you are well represented. Warmest Regards, Steve and Bridget Tillman, Jacksonville, Florida
