Hakone Rokkasō — Hotel in Hakone

loved staying here! would recommend using the luggage delivery service from hakone-yumoto station to the ryokan otherwise you’ll be hauling your suitcases through train transfer after train transfer, a tram, and a cable car with tight seating space. also look into the hakone pass so you can take most transit all inclusive.

the ryokan itself is better than we anticipated. there are only 3 rooms, so only 3 parties stay at once. there’s 2 onsen rooms, each with an indoor and an outdoor onsen. between 3 parties, its very easy to reserve the onsen for yourself and its basically completely private. there is a 150JPY onsen tax per person that they’ll ask for when you check out.

dinner was delicious and soooo much food. definitely come hungry. breakfast was delicious too.

1日3組のみの小さな旅館です。

お風呂は内風呂と外風呂のセットで二箇所ありますが　今回私たちだけの貸切だったので手前の一つのみの利用でした。 どちらも十分な大きさがあり問題ありませんでした。 広めのお風呂に入りたいけど他の人と一緒は嫌だと言う方にはピッタリです 晩御飯はたっぷりの量と種類でこれも満足のいくもので　デザートのアイスと渋皮グリまで美味しかったです。ゴンドラの姥子駅から数分歩きます。足の悪い方は少し辛いかも 周りにコンビニやお店はないのでおやつなど必要な方は持ち込みが必要です 飲み物は宿で注文可能です 宿のオーナーさんは親切で穏やかな方で居心地も良かったです 晩御飯は6時から 朝ご飯は8時からで事前申告です。 お食事は　1階の個室　大人数用に広めのお部屋もありました トイレは共有　お部屋は廊下を挟んで一室とふた部屋隣り合わせです 襖だけなのでおそらく一緒の方がいたら音が響くのかも知れません 泊まった日は寒くて次の日は雪がチラつきました。温泉なので温まるのですが夜は結構足元から寒く毛布がなくて辛かった　テレビは普通のニュースとかはみられず　AmazonやNetflixなどの契約系だったので スマホがないとちょっと厳しいかも ゆっくりするにはいいところです　車もほとんど通らず1日を通してとても静か 宿はどこも掃除が行き届いていて気持ちよく お...
