I enjoyed a very pleasant three-night stay in late March. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, with nice mountain and interesting station views. The window actually opened to an extent which was great for photos without reflection! ||The twin room also had a couch, a great-sized desk and an entrance lobby. There was good lighting, lots of convenient power sockets, a big tv, a small fridge and ample clothes hanging space as well as some drawers. There wasn't a safe. The WiFi worked well - via a specific password in the room and general downstairs/in the breakfast room. ||The bathroom had good mirrors and bench space, and a nice deep bath. Great to have bath salts available as an amenity - I love Japanese bath salts.||Guests could choose housekeeping options. I chose ecology, but I didn't realise it meant the crockery and glasses wouldn't be replaced. As there weren't dishwashing facilities/detergent etc in the room, that wasn't ideal. ||It was early in my trip, so I didn't need to do any washing, but the washing machines across the corridor would've been a bonus if it'd been later on. ||The staff were very nice. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with the forwarding of my luggage so it went to the wrong place, but because I was staying at another Richmond hotel after this one, the issue was quickly sorted at no expense to me. ||There were some tasty options at breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the rissoles and spicy battered chicken.||The location suited me well, being right near the station (I went on a day trip by train as well as exploring Fukushima). The bus to and from beautiful Hanamiyama leaves and arrives from there too (the bus only operates during peak cherry blossom season). There's plenty of shops and eateries within walking distance.||I'd be happy...

Enjoyed our stay as it was very quiet & restful on the 9F of our Hollywood twin room. The underpass made it convenient for getting to the East side (without luggage). — We stayed 3N 7 April 2025. The front desk staff was very detailed and helpful in giving us the relevant information at check in and the reception staff were always polite and courteous.
Good selection of amenities that can be taken from the lobby eg facial foam, lotion. Ladies, note they don’t have shower caps.
We enjoyed our 28sqm hollywood twin non smoking room on the 9F which was clean and spacious. Quite a large TV although we only used it for news.
Unfortunately there was no safe and it was too troublesome to use the main one in their reception.
Suggestion for improvement: Please provide a DO NOT DISTURB sign to hang on the door.
Breakfast was adequate and items were fresh. Staff was pleasant. The music on the 2nd day was a little too loud but thankfully the 1st & 3rd were fine. It’s great they had classical and not the noisy modern rock music. Perhaps some soothing arrangements like Gymnopaedie or Peer Gynt Suite, classical romantic era and not too much “busy” etudes which makes the bfast mood rushed. Speaking as a Yamaha music instructor 😁
It’s quiet since it’s on the West side of the station. There’s an underpass that links it to the East side where there are more eateries and S-Pal supermarket and mall.
