What I want to say for this sushi restaurant is that it is more delicious than other sushi restaurants in Minami Fukushima where I am living. Umakatei is a bit more expensive but it is worth paying for it. Fish are so fresh, not smelly at all and you will feel satisfied when you are craving for sushi at the moment.

Wonderfully fresh sushi at amazingly prices. The main chef is super friendly with foreigners. The store is conveniently located near the west entrance of the Fukushima train station, just follow the ad box.

Conocimos este restaurante por accidente, nuestro tren se canceló y debimos quedarnos en Fukushima. Justo en la estación encontramos este restaurante, la calidad de su pescado es excelente, recomiendo pedir el plato de caracoles, son simplemente deliciosos. Las personas que atienden se esfuerzan por dar un servicio excelente, somos extranjeros y nos atendieron muy bien aunque nuestros idiomas no fueran los mismos. Su carta de sake local bien vale varias visitas. Cada que esté en Japón tomaré un tren a Fukushima y comeré aquí.

There is a reduced english menu and pictures on the menus

Delicious sushi train restaurant with three servers ready to make whatever you desire as well as a broad selection from the train.

Food was good quality and priced well. More expensive than other trains but still very affordable and convenient as located within the train...
